Chapter - 38 Mehandi

"Don't worry buddy. We will find. Vaise did you know Rajat wasn't there at the entire party yesterday? Vinishaa was complaining!" Vikram said. "I heard he came only today morning!"

"100%" Ram was convinced now. "Vikram hurry up we are already late!" He said moving towards Priya's room.

"Hey buddy wait..... Where are you heading to? The room is this way!" Vikram stopped Ram.

"Not our room Vikram. The study. Priya's study!" Ram elaborated.

"What?" Vikram asked.

"Of course Vikram. She'll not keep it next to me if she wants to hide from me " Ram said, wiping his forehead.

"Is there something you're hiding from her Ram?" Vikram asked all of a sudden taking Ram to a surprise and making him halt.

"Dhikayi dheraha hai saaf saaf that you're hiding something from her. This is exactly how she would have felt when you do the same thing Ram" Vikram said. 

His words ringed in his mind. He was right. Priya would have felt clueless thinking what was going on...

His weird behaviours, her thoughts... what if... Wait what if she misunderstands the whole thing? What if Rajat has sent Natasha and what if they put everything back on him? Oh god! He would definitely lose her!

As These bizarre thoughts were running in his mind, he shrugged it out, composing himself and reaching for the study.

To his utter dismay the study was locked. Before even he could react on what could he do, Krishna ma was already calling for him.

"Ram Vikram come here!" They called.

"I need to talk to Priya!" Ram said Vikram who nodded a yes.

Both of them went there to see the ladies enjoying with mehandi on their hands, smiles on their faces and enjoying to the music beats.

Ram's eyes fell on Priya in a Oscar yellow lehenga, with beautiful ornaments gracing her beautiful face, she glowed!

He stood gaping at her hair strand which curled up at the end and the way she was getting rid of it, by tucking it behind the ear. He just wanted to hug her and kiss her like there was no Tomo. He hissed suppressing his senses.

"Yahaan beto thum dono!" Krishna ma said allocating places for them And They sat at their respective places enjoying the environment, where Ram's mind  was occupied on what he was going to do.

Just then Dadi entered the arena. Everyone's mood which was already lit up, improved more and Ram was feeling comfortable with dadi on the place.

"Dadiiii" he went to her like a kid and hugged her.

"Teek ho Gaye aap poore?" Ram asked kissing her forehead.

"Haan beta. Am completely fine now" dadi said.

"Kahaan ma? Aap tho manthi hi Nahi. Sugar levels dheka hai aapki? Kitni bad gayi hai? You don't take tablets and oopar se sweets!!!" Krishna ma protested.

Ram narrowed his eyebrows and looked at Dadi.

"Kuch Nahi hai Ram. Whatever she is saying is utter nonsense!" Dadi said "Mei bilkul teek Hu. Dheko!!" She said Proudly.

"Dadi aap poori tharah se teek Nahi ho. Isiliye you get tired very easily. Abse atleast try reducing unhealthy kaana okay?" Ram said.

"Mana Nahi Kar rahi Hu dadi. Bas Kam Karne ko Bola?" Ram said looking at her sulking face.

Dadi went straight to Priya and caressed her hairs.

"Kitni Sundar lag rahi hai Gudi!" She said putting a kaala teeka. "Nazar na lage meri Beti ko" she said.
