It was around 11 PM when Curtis almost yelled in anger, slamming his first on his desk. He mumbled angry nothings and curses against Annora and Estelle. He thought angrily of how, if the two girls got their head out of the clouds and agreed to marry Liam and Louis, the two villages could have an amazingly better army, get even more income, expand land, and so much more. Instead the two had to refuse a perfect proposal. He had to have them marry into some wealthy and royal family, they would not be the ones to drag everyone down for their own selfish desires, he thought to himself. Even though they weren't his blood family, he would benefit greatly from whomever they marry and what happens to Torriden, if positive.

Estelle groaned as the sun pierced her eyes, forcing her to get up out of her warm and comfortable bed. She really didn't feel like doing much today, and planning on being lazy made her feel content, but there was one thing stopping her. Liam and Louis. She couldn't be inactive while people were visiting, that's just impolite. Liam wasn't even planning on marrying either, so maybe she could be idol throughout this one day, it's not like she needed to look fancy when seeing someone she plans to only be friends with. Contemplating what she would do, her thoughts were cut short by one of the dress-fitting workers, whom she was quite close to, knocking on the door. Before answering, she quickly brushed through her hair and slid on some slippers that had been conveniently set beside her bed.

"Yes, who is it?" Estelle asked, trying not to sound tired.

"It is Marianne, I'm here to fit you for a dress for the upcoming ball in a couple weeks." Marianne spoke through the closed door.

"Oh, yes, sorry, come in." As Estelle finished her words of invitation, Marianne opened the door. The two smiled and shared a embrace before Marianne proceeded to get out materials from her finely stitched bags she would need to fit Estelle for a ball gown.

"So, are you excited for the ball? I hear you and other royal families are all going to a village called 'blackpool'. I don't know if it was a mistranslation that comes with a gossip line, but that's what I was told." Marianne's light laugh was followed by a shrug. She had to include that it may have been inaccurate, for gossip around the Town of Torriden was notorious for changing its original story as more people passed the information, false or true, on.

"Well, I guess I am excited to see what Blackpool is like, and I am looking forward to seeing everyones elegant attire. Who knows, maybe I'll even meet someone, not that that's what I'm going to be looking for. It would be a nice little opportunity, even though I would not want to lead someone into thinking I am looking for marriage." Estelle said, peering through her Victorian style windows.

"Well, I hope it ends up being a night you will remember for the best your whole life, it is practically a once in a lifetime opportunity. It's not often where many royal families gather together for a huge ball." Marianne got out some measuring tools and bits of fabric, along with a various amount of other necessary supplies as she spoke.

"Thank you, I hope so too. I'm just aiming to have fun really." Estelle shrugged, painting a pleasant look on her face, but in the back of her mind she wanted to take that opportunity to see if others had strange things happening to them too. With the wide variety of people there, she may notice something up with someone, someone who seems like they are going through something similar to her own struggles. The factor of many people being strangers to her also felt somewhat comforting, for if she embarrassed herself, she could play it off and never see them again.

Marianne and Estelle talked as she took a significant number of measurements and had her try on many, many fabrics, plus styles. Around the middle of her fitting, Marianne smirked and spoke.

"So, I heard you have two hot bodyguards that have a 24-7 watch on you. Well that's exciting."

"It's really not, they never show any emotion and are incapable of having fun. I wish I had at least a fun bodyguard. Instead Annora and I got stuck with those two." Estelle rolled her eyes.
