6 ~ Visiting Evenora

Meanwhile, when everyone had first left to let Estelle sleep and for Sebastian to keep watch, Kian escorted Annora to her room. They walked in silence, Annora occasionally glancing at Kians strong figure and cold look, before he finally broke the silence.

"What did she tell you." Kian spoke whilst looking forward, using no emotion.

"That's none of your business, Kian." Annora replied, annoyed.

"It is when I'm supposed to protect you, Annora." Kian said in a blunt tone.

"Why do you even care? The only reason you are 'protecting' us is because your father ordered you too and you don't want to disappoint him." Annora said, exhaling dramatically.

"Why can't you just cooperate?" He started, loudening his voice. "Never mind, you probably can't answer that either.'' He began to walk off, for they arrived at her bedroom and there were already two guards beside the door.

Annora was agitated, her only want being to punch Kians face. "WHY does he have to be like this?!"  Annora thought to herself, getting angry with her mind yelling at her.

The next morning, Annora got ready hastily and headed to go to the hospital, but on her way out, a strong hand grabbed her arm, making Annora look back in surprise and questioning. It was Kian.

"Where do you think you're going?" Kian asked sternly. Making eye contact with Annora, she forced herself not to get intimidated.

"Going to check on my sister, is that okay with you?" Adding irritation, she started to walk off again before Kian grabbed her for the second time. "Seriously? Let go of-"

"You should know by now not to go alone or without letting me know." They simply exchanged looks before heading to the hospital together, where they saw Sebastian with a tired look and Estelle sleeping peacefully.

With the sound of people approaching, Estelle awoke and asked, almost embarrassed, "How late did I sleep in?!"

The four talked about what happened prior to Estelle lying in the bed before them, and over an exchanging of phrases, Sebastian mentioned the glass.

"You didn't tell anyone that you heard glass break?? What if someone had broken in?" Kian seemed as if he was interrogating his brother, both surprised and mad.

This seemed to spark an argument, and with that, Sebastion replied, "And leave her in that state with no one to protect her if it was a trap or if there was something harmful?"

"Stop! there was no perfect solution, stop arguing!" Estelle said, but could feel the anger emitting from the brothers.

The conversation ended shortly after, and Estelle asked if she could leave. After some convincing, Estelle was able to go home with her sister and the brothers. Estelle and Annora managed to get a safe distance away from the two to whisper, without the others overhearing.

"I cannot believe how annoying Kian is! He has not a single good emotion!" Annora whisper-yelled, turning from Kians direction to her sister's.

"Literally! I think Sebastian might have a fraction of a soul somewhere in his body though, I think I might have made him smile." Estelle straightened her posture in confidence, satisfied and laughing.

Annora added to Estelle's laughter and the two finished walking to the castle.

Estelle finished getting ready and managed to get to Annora without anyone noticing. She nudged her shoulder into the other's and asked in a quiet tone,  "Should we go to Evenora?" Annora agreed, being silent even though no one was around to hear, and got away from everyone.

"Yeah, but we should probably tell Kian or Sebastian before they get all mad at us." The two agreed and went looking for the brothers. Reading in a small room with a fireplace, they found the two.
