"mum I don't know how to tell Dad, he will scare him away this isn't going to end well." I say with a concerned voice. "Honey I promise you your dad just wants the best for you and if he makes you happy he will have to accept that you are finally growing up." My mum says while giving me a hug. "Ok let's go tell Dad." I say.
"Shawn honey Skylar has something to tell you!" My mum says. "Oh boy, what's wrong?" Shawn (my dad) says as he walks into the room. "Nothing is wrong but I think you should know this information which I'm going to tell you and I don't want you to be mad or anything, because Im growing up so I'm just going to say it.......... I have a boyfriend." My dad looks at Camila (my mum) shocked yet he doesn't seem mad. "Honey I don't know why you would think I'll be mad at you for having a boyfriend, but I would like to meet him." I hug my dad. "What's his name?" My dad asks. "Tom, he is an actor, you know Spiderman? Yeah it's him." "Oh yeah him ok well when are you seeing him next?" "well I was going to invite for dinner to meet both you and mum if you guys want I don't mind." I say while shrugging my shoulders.
Fast forward to Tom meeting the Mendes parents....
"Honey I think he is here!" My mum tells from downstairs. "Ok I'm coming." I go downstairs in....

I lead Tom the dinning room where my parents are. "Hey ma and dad this is Tom, Tom these are my parents. My mum, Camila Cabello and my dad, Shawn Mendes."
Fast forward to dinner....
"So Tom you're an actor?" My mum asked. "Yeah I am, I just finished filming a movie." "Right so that means you're going to be away because you have to travel for your job." My dad says. "Yes that's true but I always check up on Skylar as much as I can and FaceTime her." Tom says with confidence. I nod my head in agreement. "Good because i don't want my daughter to be upset, so please don't hurt her in any way or form." "I promise I won't I don't like seeing Skylar hurt." My dad nods and we continue to eat dinner.
