Kiri was trying his best to console his buddy after what happened between him, Kazane, and the rest of their friends. Davide had run off in embarrassment after Kazane brought up the fact that he used to be a cheater. The two of them were fine now and the dungeon buddyfighter was just now tolerating his omni lord buddy's presence for a little while.

"There you are!" A new voice cut through their awkward silence as Sakate and Folbolka came running towards them. "What's wrong Sakate?" Kiri spoke up. "It's that ninja guy! The one who was with Raike! He came up to us and challenged Kazane to a Buddyfight!" Sakate told them. Kiri and Davide looked at him shocked. "Let's go." Kiri said and Davide nodded.

By the time they got there Kazane had already lost her fight and Mickey was holding a passed out mini Bladewing in his arms. "Mission unsuccessful. But at least Master Raike will be happy with this little guy." Mickey said, looking down at his captive. "LET HIM GO!" Kazane shouted and charged at Mickey, fists raised and ready. The ninja buddyfighter just dodged out of the way.

After regaining her balance for a second; Kazane looked at Mickey and frowned. "You can't take me on little girl. Don't even try." Mickey told her. "Maybe not her. But I will gladly face you in a fight to win back Bladewing." Bolt spoke up. He had transformed into his Ikazuchi form and punched his fists together like he was ready to fight. The ninja buddyfighter narrowed his eyes at Bolt's stance. "Things should be settled with a buddyfight Bolt. Not a battle of fists." Noboru said. "You think you can win against me? You saw what I managed to do to your friend here." Mickey told him. "Oh, I know I can win." "Settled then. Let us meet out on the battlefield." The ninja buddyfighter agreed.

"Little girl, you can have your buddy back. For now." Mickey said and carelessly tossed Bladewing at Kazane who caught him. He then jumped down to the platform below. "Oh Bladewing. I thought I'd lose you." She said with relief. "Please win Noboru." "Don't worry Kazane. I will. You ready Bal?" Noboru asked his buddy. "Bal's ready Bal." Bal said, excited to get back out on the field.

"You will face a tidal wave of dread and sorrow once I'm finished with you! Luminize! Turbulent Calamity." Mickey luminized. "Let's do it Bal! Sun followers unite! Luminize! Solar Force!" Noboru luminized his core gadget, now a red and blue lance with a sun shape floating from the top.

"Bolt!" Kiri called out as he and the others finally arrived at the scene. "Kiri!" Bolt said and then noticed Davide was actually with him." "Welcome back Davide." "Yeah yeah, whatever. You guys would be lost without me." The dungeon buddyfighter crossed his arms.

"What happened?" Sakate asked. "Mickey defeated Kazane with some world called Aqua World. What's worse is he didn't even use his buddy." Bolt explained.

'He didn't even use his buddy? Just how strong is this guy?' Davide thought.

"Even worse is he's going to take Bladewing from me if he wins!" Kazane spoke up. "Seriously?" The ancient world buddyfighter asked in disbelief.

"Let's just hope Noboru can take him down then." Davide said.

"Who's going first?" Noboru asked. "Be my guest." Mickey responded. "That's your first and last mistake. Charge and draw!" Noboru said. 'Think like Gao, Noboru. This is sun dragons we're talking about.' He thought.

"I equip Dragoanthem Fireblast!" He said and two swords appeared in his hands, a guage disappearing. "Then I cast Sun Chance! I get to look at the top card of my deck. It's a spell so I gain one life and add the spell to my hand." He said (Noboru: 11, Mickey: 10). "Here I come Mickey!" Noboru jumped up so high, he was just hovering over Mickey with sword in hand. He slashed his opponent dealing him one damage. (Life Noboru: 11, Mickey: 9).

"Draw. Charge and draw." Mickey said and looked at his hand. "I call Sharkskin dragon to the center." He called out and a clothed bipedal shark like dragon appeared in front of him, one of the gauge disappearing. "I also call Deep Sea Dwelling Prince Bashi to the left." Mickey said and tossed another card, this one turning into a tiny red and yellow crab with a tiny staff.

Davide burst out laughing at the sight of the tiny monster. "That tiny thing is a monster?! What's his critical? Negative 10??"." He joked. Sakate started laughing to that joke as well.

"Bashi." Mickey said. "Of course, master." The tiny grab said and 1 gauge disappeared from Mickey gauge zone. His life then increased back to 10 and he drew a card. "Bashi, Sharkskin! Link attack the fighter!" Mickey shouted outstretching his arm towards the fighter. Both monsters leapt towards Noboru. "I cast! Blue Dragon Shield!" Noboru shoved the blue shield in front of the monsters, his gauge increasing by one. "Is that all you got? I was expecting a lot more." Noboru taunted.

"Draw. Charge and draw!" Noboru then smiled. "You ready Bal?" He looked at his new buddy below him. "Bal is ready bal!" "Buddy call to the right!" Noboru announced and threw a card up in the air. (Life: Mickey: 10, Noboru: 12) Bal jumped up as blue and red fire surrounding him. He then appeared as a larger orange dragon with white and gold armor on and a large blue/red star on his back.

"Bal Dragon, Bluefire Solarflare!" Noboru shouted. "Bal has found new friends bal! And now he is Dragon of Bluefire!" Bal said happily, Noboru's life increasing by one. "Bluefire?" Bolt was stunned at Bal's new appearance. "That's so cool!" Sakate said, his eyes glowing with amazement.

"I also call Sun Follower Sunlight Dragon to the left and Sun Follower Sunbright dragon to the center!" Noboru called out and two smaller monsters appeared. A small light brown dragon monster with gold wings appeared on the left, and a bright yellow dragon with orange wings appeared in front of him. "Thanks to Sunlight's ability, Bal gets an extra critical."

You ready team?" Noboru called out. "Ready bal!" Bal shouted. "Bal attack Sharkskin in the center!" Noboru said and Bal charged towards Sharkskin. "Bal will beat you bal!" He shouted happily. "I cast. Blast Geyser!" Mickey held up a card and a huge blast of water came up out of nowhere and surrounded Bal, destroying him. "Bal! What happened?!"

"That is Blast Geyser. I can destroy any monster with 6000 or less power or defense." Mickey explained. At least Noboru still had some attacks left. "Sunbright, Sunlight! Link attack Sharkskin!" Noboru shouted and his two monsters attacked. "Blast Geyser!" Mickey shouted and Sunbright disappeared surprising both Sunlight and Noboru. "You had another one of those?" Kitten shirt exclaimed. "Yes. I did." Mickey stated. "You're not getting through Sharkskin's defense that easily kid."

Noboru sighed. "Sunlight returns to my hand." "Best of luck partner, win it for the sun dragon honor." Sunbright said before he turned into a card and floated back into Noboru's hand. "At least I can take out Bashi." He said aloud.

"You're going down crab!" He shouted as he slashed Mickey's crab monster, destroying it. "That ends my turn."

"Noboru didn't even get a chance to deal him any damage. This guy is scary good." Bolt said. "Not good for Noboru though, now it's Mickey's turn again and who knows what he'll do." Davide added.

"Draw. Charge and draw. I equip Crystal Spin Blade." He said, a large chain with a huge diamond blade at the end appearing in his hands. "Now my Pyrex monsters. It is time to show yourself!" He said and three cards flew out of his hand on their own to materialize as three monsters. A black and light blue striped serpent appeared in front of him. "Spirit of North, Serpentpyrex." Said serpent monster coiled around Sharkskin dragon, crushing him till he was destroyed so he could take its place.

A small light blue mouse with diamonds on his chest and hanging from his tail and ears appeared on the left. "Spirit of South, Mousepyrex." And finally, a purple bird like monster with black pants and light blue wings appeared on the right. "Spirit of West, Raptorpyrex." Mickey introduced.

"All three of these monsters have enter field abilities. Serpent activate yours first." He spoke. Three cards appeared in front of Mickey, one added to his hand and the other two returning to his deck. "Raptor." Mickey said plainly, three more cards appearing in front of him. Two out of three returned to his deck just like before. "Mouse." Mickey said and the same thing happened a third time. This time all three cards returned to the deck. "Interesting abilities those monsters have." Bolt said. "Wish we knew what he added to his hand." Sakate said. "Activate Spirit of East, Deerpyrex's ability from my hand. He goes into my item's soul." Mickey said, a card from his hand flying into his blade.

'Here they come. Hope I'm ready to defend against their attacks.' Noboru thought.
