"Mousepyrex! Attack the fighter!" Mickey shouted and Mouse charged without a word towards Noboru. "I cast Blue dragon shield!" Noboru shouted. "Nice try but Mousepyrex's attack cannot be nullified!" Mickey announced. "No way!" Noboru said as his shield disappeared and Mouse slashed him with his claw dealing him 3 damage. (Life: Noboru: 9, Mickey: 10). "your turn Raptor, go and attack the fighter." Raptor flew up and slashed Noboru with his wings. (Noboru: 7, Mickey: 10) "Double attack!" Once again Raptor attacked him and dealt him another 2 damage. (Noboru: 5, Mickey: 10)

"Serpent! Finish him off!" Mickey said and Serpent charged and hovered over Noboru constricting him with his tail dealing him 2 damage. (Noboru: Life: 3, Mickey: 10). "Noboru!" Kazane called out worriedly. "I'm fine, I'm fine. I think his turn is over." Noboru said. "Not yet!" Mickey was now right above Noboru item in hand. "Take this!" He thrust the chain at Noboru dealing him another two damage. (Life: Noboru: 1, Mickey: 10). "You get off easily this time kitten shirt, but next turn will be your last one."

"It's a tiger! You're going down Mickey!" Noboru shouted. "This isn't good. Noboru's life dropped to 1 so fast." Davide said. "He'll win! Noboru always finds a way!" Kazane said happily.

"Draw! Charge and draw!" Noboru shouted. He then looked at his hand and smiled. 'Yes! This will work!' He thought. "I cast Prominence Piece." Noboru's gauge and life increased by 1. "Come on out Bal! Call to the right!" Kitten shirt announced and tossed a card onto the field. Bal reformed once again on the right platform. "I cast Dragonic Grimoire." He said and three new cards appeared in his hand.

"Perfect! I call Sun Follower Sunwings dragon to the left!" Two of Noboru's gauge disappeared and the card thrown out turned into a huge yellow dragon with golden armor and bo staff. "It is a great honor to fight with the great Balle Solleil once again." Sunwings said. "Glad you're here Bal!" Bal said happily to the other dragon. "As am I." Sunwings replied stoically.

"Hold on a sec." Davide said making everyone look at him. "Sunwings makes it seem like he was with Bal..." He spoke. "So?" Sakate replied. "We've only heard of him just now. Not back when the world tournament was going on and Gao was fighting with those other sun dragons." Davide said. "You watched his fights?" Bolt asked. "Well sure I did. His fights were the best. Anyways you guys think the sun followers might've been Bal's first team? Like before Merablade and Brighthammer joined the deck?" Davide explained. "That is possible." Bolt answered.

"Your theory surprises me human, and although I might not know the answer to your query..." Sunwings started, looking up at everyone watching. "I AM A GIRL HUMAN NOT A GUY!" She snapped up at him startling everyone, Davide most of all. "Sorry!" Davide apologized. "Some temper she's got." Sakate said. "Remind you of someone?" Kazane joked, everyone immediately thinking of Noboru.

"I heard that!" Noboru yelled.

"Begin the attack phase!" Noboru then said and Bal and Sunwings got into a ready position. "Sunwings attack Serpentpyrex!" "As you wish." Sunwings charged at Serpent destroying him. "Double attack the fighter!" Sunwings charged. "Blast Geyser!" Mickey called and once again one of Noboru's monsters was destroyed by a random geyser up from the ground. "No! I'm sorry I have failed you my lord!" She shouted as she disappeared.

"I am so getting tired of those random geysers." Noboru said, annoyed. "Bal! You and I will attack the fighter!" Noboru charged; Bal next to him. "Let's beat masked boy Bal!" Bal shouted happily. "I activate Deerpyrex's ability from in the soul of my item! I call him to the field and he takes the attack for me!" Mickey said swinging his chain to the side making a card fly out and materialize into a purple deer monster in front of him. Noboru and Bal ended up destroying him instead. "So what. I have double attack!" Noboru said. "Hehe. Activate Deerpyrex's ability." Mickey said and three cards floated in front of him, all three then going back into the deck. "Well, that was a waste of time." Mickey said closing his eyes. Noboru still dealt him one more damage thanks to his item. (Noboru: 3, Mickey: 8) "Is that the best you've got kitten shirt?!" Mickey said getting determined. "You wish! I cast 2 dragonic charge cards!" Noboru said and 4 gauge cards flew into his gauge. "What do you think you're going to do with all that worthless gauge?" Mickey asked.

"You'll see. Final Phase!" "What?!"

Bal stood back up, ready to attack once again. "Thanks to there being an item and a sun dragon on the field, I can pay 2 gauge to re-stand both him and the item on the field!" "That's why you gained that much gauge!" Mickey shouted. "Yeah, Bal let's attack the fighter!!" Noboru and Bal both charged and dealt Mickey another 3 damage. (Noboru: 2, Mickey: 7). The attacks just kept on coming another two times and Noboru's opponent was finally down to 1 life.

"Curse you..." Mickey cursed under his breath. "You put up a good fight Kitten Shirt. Too bad you're luck's run out." He said.
"Actually I've got one more trick up my sleeve." Noboru told him. "Oh, do you now."

Just then Sunwings dragon appeared in a ghostly like form in front of Noboru. "What is she doing back?"
"Sunwings has a special ability called Final Sunrise. If she's in the drop zone I can send her back to my deck to once again STAND a card on my field." Noboru explained, smirking all the way because he knew this fight was his. "Go for it Bal!" He called out to his buddy.

Bal once again charged at Mickey. "Bye bye Mask guy!"
"YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF ME!" Mickey screamed. Just as Bal was going to deal the last damage, a dark silhouette of a large monster appeared behind the buddyfighter and spew a huge cloud of steam at Bal. Blinded by the hot steam, Bal halted his attack and landed on the ground. The ghost monster then spewed even more steam all around incasing the whole field. Noboru shielded his eyes from the fog for a second and the next thing he knew...Mickey had disappeared.

"Where'd he go?" Noboru asked.

Mickey appeared through the portal after escaping his inevitable loss against Noboru. Crystal was the first to notice his return. "Mickey? What are you doing back? And where's Bal?" The monster asked. Mickey just said nothing and walked right past him. It was clear he was beyond mad for almost losing to Noboru. Crystal just sighed in defeat.
The masked buddyfighter found his leader aka Raike in another room, looking into his amulet powered screen.

"This is gonna set us back. Thanks to your loss, that twerp friend of Davide's now has Bal Dragon." Raike said without even looking at his teammate. "It was no loss. I chose to leave before he had the chance." "Being a coward and leaving is considered a loss in my books Mickey." The masked buddyfighter glared.

"Never mind you're failed mission. We don't even need him at this rate. Not when I have this little beauty." Raike said as he held up a buddyfight card. "This item is just what I need to exact my revenge on Davide." He said.

First blank cards now a mysterious item card? Wonder what'll happen next....
