In another park not too far from Noboru and the others, a certain buddyfighter was sitting on a park bench. He hung his head in despair as he was on a call with someone. "Are you sure Master Wisdom? I don't have much if I'm not serving you." He said into the phone. "I know you don't, the matter's just out of my hands right now. I'd take you in if I didn't have to worry about this." Wisdom, on the other end, spoke. "But it's been over two months! Surely you can take me in! I know I won't be able to work since our latest project finished but Master...." He said sadly. "I don't have anywhere to go."
"I'm sorry Sakate. If it were under better circumstances, I'd take you in in a heartbeat, but my hands are tied right now. You understand right?" His caller said. "Yes of course. You have other important things that have to be taken care of first. I'll just try to find a hotel or something to stay at for now." Sakate said, disappointed.
"Sakate. Once this important matter is resolved, you'll be the first to know, and then you can come back here." Wisdom asked. "Ok." Sakate answered. "Good. I have to go now. Best of luck to you." The caller then hung up and Sakate's arm fell limp, phone in hand. He stood up. 'Great. Out of home but at least I saved a lot working for Master...' he thought.
"Ok Sakate Onigashira, you know what you have to do now. Let's do it." Sakate encouraged himself.
The next day began and thankfully no big black hole portals appeared in the sky again. Noboru was waiting for Bolt and Davide to get there. They were picking him up before heading for a group meeting. Miserea suggested that since Gao was gone in another country, it was up to the three of them to solve the 'Terror of the Sky, dun dun dun case', even with Davide wanting to opt out of this new group. "Man I wish I could've gone to America. I wonder how they're all doing over there?" Noboru said, sighing and looking up at the sky.
He sighed and closed his eyes, leaning on the railing near Castle watching a buddyfight between a star dragon world prism dragon player and a duel dragon danger world player. "Why'd you have to leave El Quixote? Dungeon world may need you but so do I." He said putting his head down on the railing.
"Did I hear you right? That old geezer left you?" A voice caught Noboru's attention and he turned his head around to see a surprised Sakate Onigashira eavesdropping on him. "What are you doing here you crème puff? That windbag Wisdom finally get sick of having you around?" Noboru said clearly not wanting to talk to anyone. Not even looking at him. "Well. It's complicated." Sakate said, looking away. Noboru just looked confused. He was expecting Sakate to react way different to his comment.
"What happened?" The tiger shirt asked. "I'm not sure. One minute we're celebrating the fact we finished unchaosifying all the worlds, next thing I know Wisdom has something else to worry about that he won't tell me about and doesn't want me to get involved with. Even though I'm the last of the chaos three around to help." Sakate explained, looking down.
"Sakate I..." Noboru was about to say something when.. "Hey Noboru!" Bolt's voice cut Noboru's sentence off. He and Davide were waiting for him. "Come on! We're going to find Kiri and...oh you are talking to someone." Bolt stopped talking when he saw Sakate.
Noboru sighed. "Sorry Sakate, I'm sure we can talk about it later. Wait up guys!" Noboru ran after the others leaving a confused Sakate behind. "Talk about it later...Wha..What's so important that he had to run off with those two? Who were they anyway?" He asked himself before running off after him to investigate.
Bolt, Davide, and Noboru found Kiri near Guru's house, which apparently Guru wasn't home. The omni lord was staring out at the river, thinking. "Kiri!" Bolt's shout alerted him to the three standing at the top of the hill. "Sorry to keep you." Bolt said and the three gathered around him. "Good to see you guys." Kiri asked as the three joined him. "Who was that guy Noboru?" Bolt asked.
"Sakate Onigashira. He's someone who defeated me in a Buddyfight a while ago. Honestly I was surprised to see him." Noboru answered. 'More importantly why did Wisdom ditch him?' he thought.
"So. I have a theory. Not a good one." Bolt started. "What if someone created that black hole. Could be some new villain on the rise." He finished. "Well yeah. Why do you think I keep accusing Davide?!" Noboru shouted, obviously ticking Davide off. "And how many times do I have to tell you I aint involved in this?!" Davide shouted back. "Yeah but Kyoya could be!" "Now hold on Noboru." Kiri stopped him.
"While I'm not saying it's false to say Kyoya could be behind this, you and I both know he is not the type of person to pull off this kind of stunt." The monster said. Noboru finally calmed down but decided to sulk. "It made the news by way." Davide said. "Seriously?" Bolt asked. "Yep. More confusion then real answers though. No one knows what's going on." The darkness fighter answered. "A good thing for now. Wouldn't want to start a panic." Kiri told him. "Also not something Kyoya would do."
"So what now then? Do we just wait or something?" Noboru asked. "I guess." Kiri shrugged. "Not much we can do right now." Bolt added.
"Hey!" A new voice caught the group's attention as they all turned to see Sakate at the top of the grassy slope. "Who are you guys? And how do you know Noboru!?" "Sakate...right?" Davide asked. "Yeah." Noboru answered.
"I'm not gonna ask again!" Sakate shouted. "It's none of your business Sakate!" Noboru yelled. "Oh sure and I bet this whole black hole stuff you guys are talking about isn't such a big deal either!" Sakate argued. "How long has he been standing there?" Kiri said, slightly concerned. "Again, this has nothing to do with you!" Noboru argued back. "Well it does! If something's going on, I want to be in on it!" Sakate said, startling everyone in the group.
"What's he mean 'in on it?'" Bolt asked, confused. Davide just shrugged. "Seriously Sakate. Why do you want to get involved?!" Noboru shouted. " I'll tell you if you buddyfight me!"
"What?"
"If I win, I join in. If you win, I'll leave you alone and be on my way. Deal?" Sakate called out.
"Well Noboru? You going to fight him?" Bolt asked. "Can't actually. El Quixote is training in dungeon world right now." Noboru slumped. "I'll fight him then." Bolt stood up. "But you don't know his fighting style like I do." Noboru looked at him. "So? The fun of going into battle is never knowing what's going to happen you know." Bolt smiled.
"I'll fight you Sakate Onigashira!" "Very well, mystery guy with Noboru you're on!" Sakate agreed. The buddyfight began down by the river's edge (Guru's house is next to a river). Kiri, Davide, and Noboru were still up on the grass hill.
"Is this Sakate guy any good Noboru?" Davide asked. "He beat me so... yes." Noboru answered. (Paruko is not in the series, sorry guys.)
Life 10-10 (Sakate-Bolt) "Let storms rain down to welcome the king of lightning itself! Luminize, Lord of the hundred demons!" Bolt announced.
"All brethren come forth under the flag of darkness and shadows! Luminize, Oni Garden of Scoundrels!" Sakate said afterward. "BUDDY...FIGHT!" Noboru shouted out making sword motion with his arm. "Raise the Flag" Both fighters said at the same time. "Katana World!" Sakate announced. "Parade of Hundred demons!" Bolt announced his as well.
