Demons and Oni

"Sakate can have the first move." Noboru said. "Charge and draw." He said, sending a floating card in front of him to the larger cards next to him. He then drew a card from the glove on his hand. "I call Pale Yellow Fiend, Kid Hoshiguma to the center!" Sakate tossed out the card in front of him and a pale skinned monster with a black and light blue robe/hooded outfit appeared.

"I offer my strength to lord Sakate." Kid said. "When he's called, I place a hand card into his soul."

"I've never seen that monster before." Davide was perplexed by the new monster. "Yeah and trust me those Oni Assassins are trouble. Especially when they're destroyed." Noboru explained. "What happens when they're destroyed?" The darkness dragon player asked him. Noboru didn't respond.

"Attack the fighter Hoshiguma!" Sakate announced and Bolt put up his arms in front of his face. Hoshiguma attacked him by hitting him with the ball and chain. (Life 10-8) "My turn is over." Sakate said. "Draw." Bolt looked at his hand before doing the same thing Sakate had done before. "Charge and draw." He grabbed a card in his hand. "I equip. Heavenly Claw Raikiri." He said and a razor-sharp yellow claw appeared in place of his hand. "Now I call Ogre size dragon to the left, Purplish/Green Dragon Peluda to the center, and Composed Kageitachi to the right!"

Bolt tossed three cards out onto the field and three monsters appeared. Ogre is a huge red and orange dragon with a light yellow glow on his chest and a gray scythe in his hand, Peluda is a green four legged dragon with a snake head on his tail, and Kageitachi was a standing mongoose looking monsters with gray armor.

"And now my buddy, time to show yourself!" Bolt looked at his little Yami core guy and then threw a card up into the air. A huge tornado of purple winds appeared circling the three monsters. "Hundred demons! Give your power to the great Yamigedo!" Peluda and Ogre growled and Kagei nodded. The three disappeared and a huge gray insect-like monster appeared in front of Bolt. "Resurrected Evil Deity Yamigedo!" Bolt announced and the monster let out a mighty roar. This caused a huge wind to blow making Sakate shield his eyes.

"I also call Great Warlock's Disciple Zessica to the right!" Bolt called out and a young girl with a light blue kimono and white hair appeared next to Yamigedo. "It is a great honor that I fight with Yamigedo." She looked up at the monster and it growled in response.

Bolt started running towards his opponent. "Yamigedo stand by, Zessica and I will link attack the center!" He said. The girl monster ran up with Bolt towards Hoshiguma. "Heh. I wouldn't do that If I were you." Sakate said smugly. "Take this! Blizzard of Magic Chains!" Zessica said summoning a blizzard with her hands as Bolt charged in and sliced Hoshiguma with his claw. The monster disappeared.

"Well I tried to warn you." Sakate said as Bolt started walking back to his position. "Warn me about what?" He said stopping and looking at him. Everyone looked up to see a huge bell land in front of Sakate cause huge gusts of wind. "What's happening?" Bolt said shielding his eyes.

"Buddy call to the center!" The bell dissipated slowly to reveal a huge ninja looking monster with two long horns, huge claws, a gourd on his back and a black kimono appeared in front of Sakate. "Shuten Demonic Deity Kid Ibuki!" Sakate shouted, his life going up to 11 (Life: Sakate: 11-Bolt: 9). Bolt stared up surprise. Even Yamigedo seemed a bit fazed by the equally huge monster now standing in front of him.

"How'd that monster just appear like that?" Davide asked, pointing at Kid looking at Noboru. "It's called Ambush. When a monster on the field is destroyed, a monster from the soul can be called in its place." Noboru answered, not taking his eyes off the fight. Sakate laughed in confidence as Kid Ibuki and Yamigedo were having an intense staring contest. "Scared yet? This is the true power of the Oni Assassins!" He said. "I'm not scared of him. Yamigedo, take out that monster!" Bolt said and Yamigedo roared, charging at Kid Ibuki.
