OSAMU
"I knew from the beginning that (N/N)-chan's have this high standard. But, not that high,"
Atsumu says as he slightly walks behind me, my hands kept in my pocket since earlier. I stay silent for quite a time, I don't relly have that energy to talk.
"Or!" Atsumu exclaims as he place a hand on my shoulder making me stop at my tracks as I turn to him sternly.
"Uh, maybe, he's the nii-san?" atsumu answers unsurely.
I know he wants to lighten my mood. But, I really don't have the energy to talk back, right now.
As we reach our home, I quickly unlock the door with my key and walk straight to my room after letting my mom know I'm back.
"Huh? What's with Osamu?" I heard mom mumble to Atsumu.
I didn't really get to here if Atsumu told her or not, but, I don't really care less. As if it's gonna change anything.
I plop down onto my bed, resting my arm on my forehead as I close my eyes, letting out a deep sigh.
We didn't do any extracurricular activities today, but, I feel so tired.
In a while, before I can really fall asleep. A knock on the door wakes me up from my sleepy state.
"Come in," I hum already knowing it's not Atsumu as he never knock.
"Hey, hun," Mom started as she walks inside my room, taking a seat on the edge of my bed.
I only hum in response, taking a peek at her.
"Ya, good?" She asks, "Atsumu told me ya got a fight with yer girlfriend?" She says, "You never told me you have one," She added.
"She's not my girlfriend, ma. She's just a friend," I explain, sitting up as I lean on the headboard. "And, we did not fight,"
"But, it does not seem yer just friends," She says.
I let out a sigh, "Ma, it's really nothing to be worried about," I say, "How's work?" I change the topic.
"Miya Osamu! Don't change the topic," Mom retorts sternly which made me straighten up.
Yeah, she's chill and all, but not this side of hers.
"Ma, I swear. It's nothing,"
"It's not nothing, if you're moping inside yer room instead of helping me in the kitchen already," She lectures me.
fine.
I let out sigh before continuing on, "How will I know that I like someone?"
I swear, I just saw my mom's eyes sparkle. "Well, liking someone is all about being at ease and all smiley with that person," She explains.
"How do ya feel when you're with her?" She asks.
I hum in response, thinking about it.
"Honestly, I don't really know. It's too lengthy," I reason which made mom smile.
"Tell me about her. do I know her?" She asks.
"Well, no. She lives just a street away from ours," I started. "She's a really nice person and a very optimistic one," I added, my lips curving up.
"But since she got back from Miyagi, she started ignoring me," I say.
"Did ya ask her?"
"No,"
"Love, if you want something to happen between the two of you, it's okay to communicate, it's okay to ask," She says, placing a hand on my leg. "There's nothing wrong with questions," She added.
"Well, get up now. Talk to her tomorrow," She says, standing up and looks at me with a wide smile,
"And, let me know when I would meet her,"
