Becoming a mother never crossed your mind.
Not, until now.
It's not really just a random thought that crossed your mind, but more like a morning thought wherein you're still in a daze regardless that you already took a bath or on your way to work.
And mainly because it's Mother's Day.
Should I talk about having a child with Samu? no, no. Absolutely, not. He'd freak out.
You and the gray-haired onigiri lover's not even married yet.
Would I be good with kids? I think I'd be better with dogs or cats as a child.
You snap yourself from your serious thought and actually be awake, like literally to get ready for your class.
Speaking of Mother's Day, students in your class will be bringing their photos with their mom and share to the class how important and what they love about their moms are.
After the small class sharing, students would make a flower origami with a written letter for their moms.
Straightening your pencil skirt, you grab your attendance sheet and notebook and walk to your class with a smile.
"Good morning, everyone!" You greet them, your grin wider as soon as you scan your classroom, seeing your fifteen students all smiling and looking excited for the prepared activity await them.
"Good morning, (Y/N)-sensei!" They greet in unision, bowing as they face towards you, "Good morning, friends!" They greet, now facing their classmates.
With the short morning greeting, you instruct everyone to take their seats and prepare for the activity for this event.
"So, class. As I've instructed you, I'm pretty sure everyone have their photos of their mother, father, guardians or anyone that served as your mother-figure," You announce in a soft tone, receiving a 'yes' from your students.
"Well, with that, who would like to start?" You ask them with a smile, standing behind your table.
Most of students raised their hands, eager to present their photos. You scan the classroom and decided to pick one,
"Yes, Sue-chan," You call and point your open hand in front, taking a seat on the teacher's seat.
The student with pink dress and pigtails on today, walk cheerily in front of the class, showing a photo of her and her grandmother.
"This is my Obaa-chan!" She starts, "She's been taking care of me since I was a baby and she always cook delicious foods, especially my favorite food which is Tonkatsu!" She continues with a toothy grin.
"And, whenever I feel sad, she cooks ramen and put ham on it and eat with me! And, I'm very happy with her!" She ended, bowing in front of the class.
"Aw, that was so sweet, Sue-chan," You say, initiating an applause which followed by her classmates.
"Love, before you sit, who do you want to be the next presenter?" You ask. She instantly scans the room and point at her classmate, Atsushi.
You nod at her and instructed her to take a seat which she follows. "Atsushi, you may start," You say to your shy student as he walks in front of the class with his head down and cheeks tinted.
Atsushi stands in front, a photograph on his small hands. Taking a deep breath, he shows the photo in his hands in front.
"This is (Y/N)-sensei, a-and she's my mother figure since she's always there for me when I'm too shy to play with everyone," Atsushi started, and with just how he considers you a mother-figure, you immediately felt touched in an instant.
