After dinner was over, Astrid drove to her house with Zephyr. "Zephyr, come on. Wake up." Astrid said softly and unbuckled the car seat of Zephyr's, but Zephyr won't budge. Astrid sighed.

"C'mon Zeph, I really can't pick you up." Astrid said. She already was cramping all day and tensed up. Astrid took her keys and adjusted her bag on her shoulder.

She picked Zephyr and closed the door with her leg, then automatically closed the door with the car keys. She realized Hiccup's car was there too. She slightly frowned and walked to her house. She found out Hiccup sitting on the porch.

"Umm. What are you doing here?" Astrid asked. "You're having Zephyr the day after tomorrow." "When were you going to tell me?" Hiccup asked. "Tell you what?" Astrid was really confused right now. Hiccup looked at her lower abdomen and when she realized what he is talking about, she sucked her breath.

"I need to put Zephyr in bed." Astrid said and tried to open the door, but Hiccup stopped her by grabbing her arm. "How far are you?" Hiccup asked. "Hiccup, it's cold out here. Zephyr's gonna get cold, so let go." Astrid said and managed to wiggle her arm out of his grab.

She unlocked the door and got in, but left the door open. Astrid changed Zephyr into her pajamas and opened her nightlight. She quietly got out of the room and closed the door behind her. She walked to her room and felt Hiccup following her. She took her pair of pajamas. "Could you turn around?" Astrid asked, agitatedly and thankfully he did.

"Done." Astrid said, as she finished dressing and sat on her bed. "I'm six weeks pregnant, knew that three weeks ago, suspected that a day or two before confirming it. I didn't tell you because I was figuring things out." Astrid explained.

"So, you withheld the truth from me, the father and told Tuffnut? Sounds kinda bizarre to me." Hiccup said. "Of course Tuffnut told you." Astrid scoffed. "For your information, I wasn't going to tell Tuffnut. It slipped from my mouth."

"It doesn't matter! You are literally doing the same thing you did with Zephyr!" Hiccup yelled. Astrid covered her face. "You want to be alone! I try so hard to be there for you and you push! So, when were you going to tell me?! When you are on labor?!"

"I was nineteen! I was nineteen and stupid and didn't know what I was doing! Do you think I liked the idea of having a baby all alone?! Do you think I loved the idea of leaving my friends, my hometown and the love of my life?! Do you think it was fun to fall into postpartum depression because I was alone?!" Astrid shouted. "You know nothing, so you don't get to come here and make assumptions about what I want!" "Yes, it took me three weeks to tell you and even I wasn't even the person to tell you, but you were so ready to break up with me! Remember, I was asking you to give me a chance to explain, but you were so done! Guess what, Hiccup? I already had my suspicions about being pregnant the night you broke up with me!"

"Mommy?" Zephyr said. Astrid had her face gone all red with tears down.

"Hey. Did we wake you up?" Astrid said and wiped her face. "Sorry, daddy was just leaving." "Yeah, I was. Goodnight, munchkin." Hiccup said and kissed her head softly. He left slamming the door behind him.

"I'm sorry, baby. Daddy and I were disagreeing about things we didn't quite like. How about you sleep with me tonight?" Astrid asked. Zephyr smiled and nodded. "Climb up and I will be right back. I need to go to the bathroom." Astrid said and Zephyr nodded.

Astrid rushed to the bathroom and locked the door behind her. It took her every energy in her body not to breakdown in front of her daughter. She cried, sitting on the ground. Her breaths were shaky and she was tired of all this. She started to take some deep breaths.

She slowly stood up and walked to the sink to wash up. She felt this painful pressure in her womb, making her grunt.

Astrid took another deep breaths. "It's okay. I'm fine, please be okay." Astrid mumbled, putting her hand on her lower abdomen. She walked out to her room and took her phone.

Astrid made an appointment to see her OBGYN  in the morning since she knew those cramps weren't good and tried to get some sleep though she couldn't do that. The next morning, Astrid texted Olivia that she's going to be late and drove Zephyr to school and went to the clinic.

"Good morning, Astrid." The doctor said. "How are you feeling?" "Hi. I don't know. I've been cramping since last night, but there was no bleeding and I don't know, could I be miscarrying?" Astrid asked.

"Hopefully, everything is fine, but we will need to make sure. You're six weeks, right?" Astrid nodded. "There is a gown on the bed, please get ready and lay down, I'll be right back." The doctor said.

Astrid nodded and did everything she was instructed to do. She heard a knock on the door. "I'm done." Astrid said. The doctor got in and smiled at her.

"You ready?" She asked. "Yeah, I think so." Astrid said and closed her eyes, ready for whatever the doctor was going to tell her.
