Astrid woke up with a really bad headache. It wasn't that bad, but it was bad.

She sat up and remembered last  night's events and groaned. She slowly stood up and opened the door of Hiccup's room.
It was already noon when she checked the time.

"Hey good morning!" Hiccup said.
"Morning.." Astrid said. "Coffee?" Hiccup asked. "Yes, please." Astrid mumbled and sat on the table.

Hiccup passed her a cup of coffee. Astrid mumbled a thanks and drank from her coffee.
"You wanna talk about last night?" Hiccup asked. Astrid shook her head, but immediately regretted doing that. She groaned and rubbed her temples. "What happened?" Hiccup asked.

"I'm pretty sure I said I don't want to talk. Well, not in words, but you pretty much took the hint." Astrid said. "Yeah, tell that to a boyfriend who had his girlfriend turning up to him at midnight and drunk." Hiccup said. "Hiccup! I said I don't want to talk about it! Take the hint and shut up! Gods, my head." Astrid yelled, but said the last part quietly. "Okay then. If that's what you want." Hiccup said and continued doing his work.

"Hiccup, I'm sorry. It's just..." Astrid said, but couldn't continue because Hiccup sat next to her. "Hey, it's okay. I'm just worried about you. You don't have to tell me." Hiccup said.

"It's just frustrating. She had her father around her whole life and he left me and mom for her. Don't get me wrong my life is much better without him involved, but it still hurts." Astrid said, pulling her knees to her chest.

"Talk to her. Not now, when you feel better." Hiccup said. Astrid leaned her back on Hiccup's chest and nodded tightly.

"On the brighter side, Heather and I made up." Astrid said and smiled shyly. "That's amazing, I told you she'd come around." Hiccup said, rubbing Astrid's shoulder.

"Gods, my head feels heavy." Astrid said. "You want aspirin?" Hiccup asked. "No, I don't think I need it." Astrid said. "How about you finish your coffee and I'll do you breakfast?" Hiccup asked.

"I would've definitely kissed you if I didn't have a morning breath." Astrid said, making Hiccup chuckle and kissed her head. "It's okay. Now off you go." He said. Astrid straightened up, letting Hiccup stand up.

"Hiccup?" Astrid called. "Hmm." Hiccup hummed from the kitchen. "What do you think about we telling Zephyr about us?" Astrid asked softly, sipping a little from her coffee. "It would be great, if you want to, of course." Hiccup said. Astrid smiled and nodded.

She finished her cup when Hiccup passed her a plate of bacon and scrambled egg. "Thanks." Astrid said.

"Right, when is Zephyr coming?" "I'll drop you home first, then I'll pick her up." Hiccup said, sitting next to Astrid. "Okay."
