"You got something fun to do?" Hiccup asking Zephyr. "I'm pretty boring." "Umm I don't know, but you're not boring." Zephyr said. "Well, thank you." Hiccup said, unlocking the door of his house. "Get in." "You told me you'd show me your drawings?" Zephyr said, hopefully and Hiccup could have swore he saw sparkles on Zephyr's blue eyes. "Okay. Get washed and I'll get the drawings." Hiccup said and chuckled at Zephyr's enthusiasm. "The bathroom is to your left." Hiccup took a stool and went to his room. He placed the stool in front of his closet and stood on it. He picked up an old, dusty green box and blew on it. Hiccup accidentally inhaled the dust, which made him cough uncontrollably. He got down and placed the box on his desk and opened it. It had couple of files in it. His old drawings since four years old until eighteen. He took the files. He still kept coughing.
He took it to Zephyr. "Here." Hiccup placed the files in the coffee table and sneezed continuously. "Are you okay?" Zephyr asked. Hiccup smiled. "Yeah, allergies." Hiccup said and sneezed again. "For?" Zephyr asked. "Dust and feathers." Hiccup said. His whole face was red. He kept sneezing. "It's fine. I'll be fine in ten minutes." Hiccup said. "Would you like to have pizza?" Zephyr smiled and nodded. "You allergic to something?" Hiccup asked. "Yes, to..." Zephyr frowned. "I can't remember..." She said. "So, I'll have to ask Astrid." Hiccup said. He took his phone from his pocket and dialed Astrid in FaceTime and sat next to Zephyr. Astrid's face appeared on the screen. "Hi, you two." Astrid said. "Hi mom." Zephyr said. "Hey. So, Zephyr and I are going *sneeze* to order pizza, but apparently Zephyr forgot what she's allergic to and *sneeze* making is better." Hiccup said and grabbed a tissue. "Let me guess, you either had a feather around or you had dusty thing around." Astrid said. "Second one." Hiccup said. Astrid shook her head. "Anyways, Zephyr is extremely allergic to soy. So, make sure it doesn't contain soy." Astrid said. "Noted." Hiccup said. "Okay, I got to go, now. Have fun." Astrid said. Zephyr waved to her mother. "Bye." Hiccup ordered the pizza while Zephyr viewed Hiccup's old drawings. After Hiccup finished ordering, he sat next to Zephyr and they both spent the next thirty minutes talking and laughing. "Is that mom?" Zephyr asked, looking at the drawing, then at her father. He remembered this one. They were seventeen. "Yeah. We were seventeen." Hiccup said. "Can I ask a question?" Zephyr asked. "Of course." Hiccup shifted on his sit. "Why weren't you with mom and I?" She asked. Hiccup's breath hitched. His little girl wasn't supposed to know this. "Umm...I never knew about you. Your mom and I loved each other, but sometimes, things just doesn't work out. We fought and I left her. You'll understand more when you're older." Hiccup said. He knew when she'd grow up, she'd be mad at him for lying, but for now it was okay. Zephyr looked down. "Hey, look at me." He said softly. "I'm so so sorry, but from now onwards I'll always be there with you. If you want me to be." Zephyr hugged him and nodded at his shoulder. "Dad." Hiccup hummed in answer. "You were right about your drawings. You scribbled." Zephyr said. Hiccup laughed a little. "I know." Hiccup said and kissed her head softly. They broke the hug when the doorbell rang. "That's probably the pizza. Wait here." Hiccup said and stood up. They ate their lunch and Zephyr started doing her homework while Hiccup cleaned up. After they both finished their work, they did some activities to pass time. At evening, Zephyr passed out at the couch. Hiccup carried her to his bed. As Hiccup tried to do his work, (which was hard to him for the first time) the door was knocked on. Hiccup opened the door and his face lightened up when he saw Astrid. "Hi." Hiccup said. "Hey." Astrid smiled tiredly. "Come in." Astrid got in and placed her bag on the couch. She saw scattered papers around the coffee table. "You working on something?" Astrid asked. "Hmm. Yeah. I have a project next week, but I'm totally uninspired." Hiccup said. "Coffee?" He placed his hand on her back gently. "No thanks. If I drank another cup now, I won't be able to get a some sleep. Water would be nice though." Astrid said. "Where is Zephyr, by the way?" She sat at the couch as Hiccup walked to the kitchen. "Oh. She's sleeping inside." Hiccup said. He got out off the kitchen with a glass of water on his hand. He handed Astrid the glass and she mumbled a thanks and took a sip from it. "I've got something to tell you, but promise me you won't freak out." Hiccup said. "Yeah of course." Astrid said, placing the glass of water on the table. He told her about his conversation with Zephyr. "Why didn't you tell her the truth?" Astrid mumbled, looking at her hands that where on her lap. Hiccup sighed and shifted to hold her hands. "Because first, Zephyr adores you and she looks up to you and second, I want to put it all behind us. I forgive you, Astrid. I do. So, why repeat everything again when we can stop here?" Hiccup said and kissed both of her hands. Astrid leaned forward and kissed him on the lips, which he gladly returned back. "Thank you."
