Whatever It Takes (ITZY x Male Reader)

First Training!

(A/N): Hey hey hey there, Blossoms!!! It's ya boi Chaery with another update! 

If I'm not mistaken, this is the 9th chapter, right? Well whatever (it takes), I'm back and alive. Not as active though because of sudden tri-sem and bball training, which is fun! 

I also want to thank Vorrentis for permitting me to use one of his chapters as guide to help this book have a solid flow. Thank you sir, I am very thankful!

I will update as much as I can in my free time so don't worry.

Okay enough of that, Chapter 9, LETS GET IT!!!

3rd person pov

"...Aespa?" The 4 girls are now standing in front of (Y/N) and ITZY as he stood there shook.

"Oh! It's Rocket!" NingNing said enthusiastically, making the boy confused for a moment.

"Wait... you guys know me?" He asked in English while tilting his head, getting confused even more.

"Of course! You and your team are really famous here! And didn't you guys guest on a Basketball event? It was a shame that we couldn't attend." Giselle answered in perfect English while the others nodded in agreement.

"O-oh, thank you." He managed to say as he just stood there, embarrassed making all the girls giggle at him.

They proceed to introduce themselves to (Y/N) and vice versa. After that, they began their training session with some stretching.

"Okay girls, partner up. We will do some stretches first before practicing." (Y/N) instructed as they all partnered up.

"Coach~" NingNing said while approaching (Y/N) as he smiled at her.

"Yes, NingNing?"

"Can I partner up with you?" She asked, making ITZY widen their eyes at her boldness asking (Y/N) just like that.

"Oh, sure. Why not?" He accepted and smiled as they all soon found themselves partners of their own. Some of the ITZY girls lowkey wished that they thought of asking (Y/N) to be their stretching partner, too.

All of them are doing their stretching but 5 certain girls can't stop looking at (Y/N) and NingNing laughing and smiling as if they have been best friends for years.

But what they don't know is that the reason (Y/N) and NingNing became close fast is because NingNing is Chinese and apparently, (Y/N) is very fluent at it.

((A/N): I am not fluent in chinese, I just know the basics because- ...That's a story for another time.)

After doing their stretches, (Y/N) briefly called for a huddle

"Okay, before we officially start our training, who here has a Sports or Athletic background?" (Y/N) asked as no one, except Yuna, raised their hands.

"Oh, that's right. I heard that you were part of the floorball team back then." (Y/N) tried to confirm if he was right and Yuna nodded, smiling widely.

2nd person pov

You then officially started the training session and instructed them to do dribbling first. You first explained how to dribble the ball properly, telling them that they should dribble with the tips of their fingers and not their palms. After a brief explanation, you let them grab basketballs of their own from the rack provided by JYP and let them dribble with their right hand first.
