Exhibition Match (Part 2)

A couple of minutes have passed, there is only 2 minutes left before the first quarter ends. Yeji just sank a jump shot, closing it into a 1 point gap.

You also began noticing details about the IZ*ONE players individually; you got a gut feeling that Yujin and Wonyoung are starting 5 material while the other 3 aren't.

But you have to admit, even if they aren't, they are holding their ground against AeZy pretty well... Especially Chaeyeon...

*SWISH*

Sakura just scored a basket, giving IZ*ONE a 1 point lead.

AeZy 11 - 12 IZ*ONE

"Nice shot, Kkura!" Eunhwa and IZ*ONE cheered as Sakura and the others went back on defense.

As usual, Ryujin was the one who brought the ball down while the others positioned themselves on offense.

Ryujin noticed that Yuri's movements were slower than before and took the chance to drive past her without using any screens.

Wonyoung, being in the middle, got ready for Ryujin's attack. Ryujin then passed the ball to Yuna, who was left unguarded by Wonyoung.

"Shoot it, Yuna!" Ryujin shouted as Yuna attempted a standing layup.

*THUMP*

'What the?!' Yuna thought as she saw the ball get swatted out of her hands. She averted her gaze and was surprised to see the person who blocked her shot.

'Wonyoung?!'

"LET'S GO, WONYOUNG!" Fromis_9 cheered from the audience as Stray Kids watched in shock.

Chaeryeong managed to grab the ball while Chaeyeon guarded her. It was a one-on-one battle between the Lee Sisters.

'Okay, time to use what (Y/N) taught me.'

Chaeryeong had her back facing the rim and Chaeyeon. She knew that doing a regular face up jumper would be careless, so she had to use a variation.

Chaeryeong reversed pivot and did a jab step, prompting Chaeyeon to shift her body to the direction Chaeryeong jabbed her foot at.

This was enough for Chaeryeong to shoot a jumper without worrying about defenders.

*SWISH*

"Nice job, Chaeryeong!"

"It's fine, Chaeyeon! You'll get her next time!"

You and Eunhwa both cheered at the same time. At this point, the Lee Sisters had a mutual understanding... It'll be a battle between them for the rest of the quarter.

AeZy 13 - 12 IZ*ONE

Yuri called the 'Swan' play once again, passing the ball around like a hot potato before it landed on Chaeyeon's hands.

"That was a cool move, sis." Chaeyeon said as she posted Chaeryeong up, "But I got one, too."

Chaeyeon spun her body to the right as Chaeryeong followed her movements. Half way through the spin however, Chaeyeon spun her body back to the left and pulled up for a jump shot.

If Chaeryeong were to try and block the shot, it would be too late as the ball had already left Chaeyeon's hands.
