But before we start, I just wanna address a couple of things.

First things first, I apologize for being kind M.I.A for a YEAR when it comes to updating. I've been so busy with stuff that I literally forgot I am an author. 😛

Second, getting back to this book was really hard because I, myself, forgot what the heck was this story all about. But with a lot of reading, from start to finish, and a little peak from my sacred notes that I found in the deepest, narrowest parts of my phone, I finally rekindled the lamp inside my brain.

Lastly, I've missed writing so much, but I think it would take a while to get the hang of it again. I'm a little bit rusty, so I apologize if this Chapter isn't as good as the previous ones!

"They sure are taking their time out there, huh?" Hyung-Jin said as he stared out the window, wondering what took the two teams and their coaches so long.

"I agree," Jinyoung chuckled. "But they'll arrive any moment now. It's already 7 pm after all."

"I guess you're right," Hyung-Jin shrugged before he saw the familiar group heading back to the restaurant. "Well, speaking of them. There they are now."

Jinyoung turned his head to the door just as IZ*ONE, AeZy, Eunhwa, Aera, and finally, (Y/N) entered.

"Hey girls," Jinyoung chirped. "We're just talking about when you'd come back."

"Sorry about that, PD-nim. We just lost track of time and played a lot more games than we intended," Yeji scratched her head and sheepishly laughed. She hoped that her alibi would be enough to convince her boss.

And lucky for her, Jinyoung just chuckled and waved it off. "Well, that's quite alright. At least you guys got to get along with each other."

The girls let out a huge mental sigh of relief before collectively voicing out their agreement to the JYP Ceo's statement.

"By the way, I haven't seen (Y/N) and Aera by the time you girls walked in. Where are they?" Jinyoung asked as he scanned through the crowd of girls.

"Even Eunhwa," Hyung-Jin added.

"Oh, they told us that they would wait outside since it's already time to go anyway," Yena immediately answered their question, earning an agreeing nod from all of her fellow members and co-idols.

Their behavior made Jinyoung a little bit suspicious, but thinking that they just went out for a basketball game on a court that was just a minute or two away with their guardians, he just concluded that it was just the effect of being so full of the delicious food they just ate.

As the girls waited for their bosses to finish up their food and pay the bill, they gathered around and talked amongst themselves.

"Wah, the events earlier were rather interesting," Chaewon sighed.

"Yeah, I can't believe we almost got- HMM!" Yena immediately got her mouth covered by Yuri, who frantically looked around to see if their bosses were listening.
