"Do you have any more siblings?" Jisoo inquired as her eyes set on the 24 hour store illuminated in the near distance.
"Nope, you?" "Yeah, I have two! Yeonju and Dasom." His gaze flickered over to her, studying her crestfallen expression.
"You must miss them." "I do." She nodded, sighing as she craned her head up to the sky. "I wonder how they are...without me there. I hope they aren't being punished because of me."
"Isn't punishing you enough?" He questioned with a scoff, pulling on the door and holding it open as the girl thanked him and entered the warm store.
Since it was a self serve store, there were no employees or customers, she gaped in awe of all the sweets, chocolates and food. "Wow!" She exclaimed, gasping and picking up the bag of sour sweets.
She giggled to herself and Renjun watched her become so easily infatuated by the smallest, simplest things.
Suppressing her laugh, she turned around with the bag of the sour sweets which were in the shape of fangs.
"Look." She urged and Renjun diverted his attention to the fangs and scoffed out a laugh- walking over and taking it out of her hands.
"They're a little big to be fangs." He commented, handing it back to the girl. "Does it hurt to have fangs?" She questioned and he shrugged.
"Sometimes- didn't you want ice cream?" Renjun spoke, pointing over to the freezer and she perked up, nodding.
"What's your plans after college?" Jisoo asked. "About that," he began, gaining her attention as she glanced over at him curiously.
"We all want to leave college." His words made Jisoo halt, snapping her head up in shock as she met his eyes. "What?"
"We decided it ages ago...we all wanted to leave college and move into a place together somewhere else on Earth because we already live together in Hell- just a place to go if wanted to escape it in Hell." "Somewhere else?" She questioned, her soft confused voice spoke as her mind raked over his question.
Renjun sighed, walking over to the girl. "Things are getting pretty serious in Hell, Jisung's struggling as it is and none of us really see a point in continuing college."
"Where are you moving to?" "Not too far, it's still near here but the house we looked at is a ten minute walk from the river."
"Oh...so not that far." She said and he shook his head. "When are you...leaving college?" Jisoo asked quietly, looking down at the row of chocolates as if she was busy observing them but she couldn't help but feel immensely sad.
"We haven't decided, we were meant to just before you came but..." Jisoo turned to look at him, offering a smile. "You should do whatever makes you happy, don't worry about me- I still have the Angels."
Renjun's eyes flickered between her own and he nodded with his tongue poking into the side of his cheek to hide his dislike. "Right, the Angels. I'm sure you'll be glad to hang out with them."
Jisoo nodded with a reassuring smile, turning around with her back to him as she reached out for something but her smile dropped.
There would be less of a reason to see him, to see any of them
There was a silence that hung in the air as she put back what she was holding and sighed. "It's getting late, should we head back?"
Renjun's brows furrowed. "But what about your ice cream?" She shrugged. "Maybe another day?"
Jisoo exited the store, chin tucked into the collar of her jacket as she watched a couple walk by hand in hand, laughing about something with pure love in their eyes.
"Is that her?" "Yep, Park Jisoo." The other voice spoke as they both watched from afar as she stood outside the store before Renjun joined her. "Hm, interesting." They watched as both their figures walked alongside each other down the dimly lit street.
"Do you not enjoy college?" She inquired and Renjun shook his head. "Honestly, we only went there because Jisung wanted to kill Chaerin."
"What?" "Long story...but we never had any intentions of actually staying their but then Hyuck met Dai." "Oh." She nodded. "So, what do you want to do- I'm guessing you had something because you didn't like college?"
"Me? I don't really have anything I want to do." "Really? You must have something." She reasoned and he shook his head.
"Really, I don't know what I want to do...it's like everyone has their lives sorted out." "Not everyone- I don't know what to do either. A part of me feeling like this is all a dream or some kind of educational trip and I'll wake up to be back in heaven."
"Do you want to go back?" "I do." She answered. "I miss everyone, I feel homesick and as much as I absolutely adore Minho and Aera for taking me in, I feel like I've just intruded on them." "I'm sure they don't feel that way- they probably love having you there."
"Life is weird isn't it?" She spoke, looking up at the sky and Renjun hummed in agreement. "It's crazy how fast things change and how fast time goes."
Jisoo glanced down at her Guardian Angel ring. "I hate being human Renjun, I really hate it." She confessed. "I feel like...I can't protect myself and I don't have the abilities to use my wings and-" at the thought of her wings she frowned. "My wings..." she trailed off with a frown.
Renjun couldn't help but feel sympathy for her, reaching out to pat her head as she glanced up at him in confusion.
She looked adorable with her nose scrunched up and her big eyes glistening up in the moonlight, a prevalent sleepiness drawing down on her.
"It will all work out for you, I know it will." "I guess?" She mumbled, yawning as she stretched her arms out.
Renjun chuckled at her, nudging her over to the house they reached. "Get some sleep, we'll get ice cream another day."
"You promise?" She questioned and Renjun nodded, hands in his pocket as he watched her. "I promise."

Well looks like the demons are planning to leave college damn what's gonna happen to Jisoo
