It was the girl with the Frizzy brown hair.
It was the book smart know it all.
It was the girl with the bravest personality.
It was the girl that you fell in love with. And you fell hard.

"Ron you give me Crookshanks back this instant!" Hermione demanded as Ron ran away with the cat.

You stood at the end of the hallway, ready to get Crookshanks from Ron as he passed by.

He finally passed by as you stuck your foot out to trip him, grabbing the cat before he fell.
He hit the ground with a thud as Hermione giggled and ran up to you.

"Thanks y/n" she beamed as she took Crookshanks from you.
"Anytime Mione" you say.

Ron stands up and smiles before nudging your side.
"You should've asked her out y/n!" He beams.
You quickly smack your hand over his mouth as Hermione turns the corner.

"Who should've asked me out?" She asks, cocking an eyebrow.

You sigh and pull your hand away from Ron's mouth as he licks it.
"EW!" You yell, smacking him.
He giggles before running away, leaving you and Hermione in the room alone.

"So-" she says.
Your cheeks begin to heat up as you look down.
"So-" you mock.

"Was it you?" She asks, raising an eyebrow.
You look up at her and nod sheepishly.
She smiles before grabbing your hand.
"Well...go on then" she says.

You look up at her with a surprised look as she smiles.
"Really?" You ask.
She nods before setting Crookshanks on the ground and grabbing your hands.

You take a deep breath before looking her in the eyes and giving her a hands a little squeeze.

"Hermione.....will you go out with me?"
"Yes"
