Loki stared at me with either a look of awe or a look of disbelief.
"Tell me. What could you possibly do against a mad titan such as him? You'd get yourself killed or worse drag everyone down with you!"
"You must not have read my file. Loki, there is very little in this universe that can kill me. There are many ways to kill someone like me. But people exactly like me? There are few and far in between. No one knows how to kill me. Especially since I'm religious."
Loki was confused and baffled beyond belief. How could a mortal be so full of themselves? Excluding Stark of course.
"And what do you mean people like you?"
"I don't think I'm ready for you to find out just yet... you'll see me worse than you already do." I said making my way towards the door.
"Oh and loki?"
He looked up from his thoughts.
"Try not to be a total pig next time we chat..." she smirked slyly as she left.

I walked back to my room. At least I could find my way there of all places.
I used my new phone. The one Stark gave me, to contact Fury.
"What the hell do you want now, Stark?! I'm busy trying to run a multi-task force and you're making it harder!"
"Uh Umm... Director Fury, this isn't Stark, it's Elliara..."
"Oh Miss Porter! What can I do for you I'm on a tight schedule right now, so it'll have to be quick." He said.
"I was hoping you could withdraw my file from Avenger Authorization. Including Loki. Most of the team has read it, but I'd prefer them to not see me as a monster, but a team player..." I said softly.
"Is that all?"
"Yes sir."
"I was expecting some type of demand or condition. Such as a higher pay grade." He slightly laughed.
But you had to pay very close attention to be able to tell that it was, in fact, a laugh.
"Thank you Director."
"Oh I didn't say I would do it but since it's for our newest member and one of our greatest assets, then I'll do it. Good day Miss Porter." He said and hung up on my before I could respond.
I sighed in resignation. At least I got one thing done today. Natasha is probably going to kill could me for missing training. Perhaps tomorrow she could walk me there.
But for now I decided to take my own little tour of the place. And if I get lost? Oh well... I'll just have a go at Stark if I find him.
Meaning I'll beat the crap out of him for making this place so hard to navigate.
I march out of my room and speed to the main lounge area. Where I find Stark with his feet propped up on the coffee table and eating a bad of peanuts, and pulling up schematics and blueprints.
My curiosity outweighing my frustration, I asked him, "what ya got there Mr. Brainiac?"
He looked at me as if I were stupid. Hey compared to him I probably was. What? I'm not about to let my ego get in the way of the truth. Unlike some people. *cough* *cough*
"What does it look like Vampy?"
"Schematics and blueprints. But I'm asking what are they for?"
He rolled his eyes.
"They're for the new avengers compound."
"As if the current one isn't enough?!" I scoffed.
God this man is insatiable!
"Yeah apparently some people prefer me to keep avengers business and Stark Industries separate. And they want more room."
"More room?!!! What don't we have enough?" I asked.
"That's what I said but apparently they want us to be able to have a wide range of places to train. Such as an outside field, a bigger simulation room."
"Ah I can actually understand the need to want to train outside as well. Open area and we'll have to learn how to survive and battle in harsh and extreme conditions. Such as extreme heat or freezing weather. And more room..." I listed off reasons.
"Yeah yeah I get it. I get it! I just don't want to leave the tower alright?!" He said not wanting to admit it.
"So when do you think they'll be done with it?"
"Give or take 3 months..." he said nonchalantly.
"What?! That should take at least a year and a half!"
"Yeah well when your a Genius, philanthropist, playboy, billionaire, things get done a lot faster and become a lot less complicated. I'll have over a thousand construction workers."
"Tony don't you think that's a bit too much? I mean come on! Surely we could wait that long for it? Seriously? I thinks that overworking them!"
"They're getting paid handsomely so... I don't see the problem!" He said closing the hologram and clapping his hands.
