Chapter 5 -Moving on-

I wrote this authors note before so idk if this chapter will be short or long so AHAHAH

-Luke-

After the performance me and the guys poof to the back of the café. "WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE YOU GUYS THINKIN?" I scream at them. Their faces changed to a shock but confused look. "Well, we thought that we were doing you guys a favor and like trying somehow to get you know all that jazz together-" Reggie tried to explain. "Reg, just tell me. It's not that hard." I say with a sigh.

"We thought that if we left, you and Julie's chemistry would spark. Which it clearly did, but after her snapping at you in the garage, we knew that we had to do something." Alex explained. I don't know what he is trying to say or is he just wording it weird? 

"Oh-okay? Anyways we should get going. Julie wouldn't want us to be la-" I stop talking. I see Alex staring at something. I look behind me. There, I see Yick and Jules laughing. They take a seat down at a table and start giggling and talking. "Guys, I am fine. I told you I am moving on!" I tell them. 

"You never-" Reggie said before I cut him off. "Well, no you know. We should leave them." We all nodded out heads before trying to poof out. 

I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see a beautiful girl. She has dirty blonde hair deep brown chocolate eyes, kinda like Julie's. "Excuse me, sorry but aren't you the guitarist in that girls band?" She says pointing to Julie. "Erm- yeah actually- wait are you a ghost?" I ask her. How could she see me? 

"I knew it! And yeah, I am. I thought you were one cause it's kinda hard to believe you are holograms." She laughs out. "Hiya! I am Reggie!" Reg says while pushing me out of the way. "Nice to meet you Reggie! I am Dakota, you can call me Kota though." She says while shaking Reggie's hand. 

"I'm Alex, and this is Luke." Lex says while pointing to me. I let out a small wave. "Nice to meet you guys. Do you wanna sit down? I have nothing better to do. I assume you guys don't cause that pretty girl is talking with that boy." Kota says while pointing at Julie. "Yeah sure!" Reggie says before running to a table kinda by Julie. 

We talk for a bit, she reminds me so much of Julie. She sings, plays piano and guitar, and has Julie's same eyes. She is really sweet too. She died in a car crash with her mom on the way to her gig. We told her about hotdog story and she laughed so hard. 

I kept taking quick glances at Julie. She looks like she is having fun but she keeps looking at me weirdly. Maybe she can see Kota? "I see you can't keep your eyes of that girl Luke." Kota says while slapping my shoulder playfully. "Ha! You wish. We are just friends." I say looking at my shoes. "I have heard that one before." She says smirking. "Fine, you caught me. I can't help it! I mean, she is out on a date with that Mick guy and I just- I don't know." I say while looking at her. "HIS NAME IS NICK!" Reggie says slapping my other shoulder. 

"I can maybe help you?" She said while smiling. "Oh gosh that would help a lot!" I say while smiling back at her. 

Alex and Reggie poofed out so that me and Kota could work out a plan. We decided to try and become close friends. Honestly, she had some really good ideas. We would hang out a lot and stuff and I don't wanna say this but maybe make Julie jealous? I don't know why but Kota said she saw something in Julie's eyes when we were singing. 

"So, friends?" Kota said holding her hands out for a hug. "Friends!" I say hugging her. I cannot wait! This girl seems like she will be a great friend.

~Dakota~

I am so happy I am helping Luke! I mean, I have literally nothing to do as a ghost so why not help Alex's friend? Yes, I know Alex. He is my cousin. Our families hated each other so I never got to see him. I guess he didn't know I died. 

I saw him one day at the park, he was talking to this guy when he saw me. I can't tell you the face on Lex was hilarious. I died shortly after he did. He told me about Luke and how I should help him. He told me to show up to this gig and talk to him. I cannot wait to get Luke and this Julie girl together.

I plan to only stay friends with Luke. Like he is a good guy but I don't need anything else with him. My heart is still settled on my boyfriend....

~Julie~

"So, it's been awhile eh?" Nick said while we took a seat at a round table. "Yeah, I mean last time I saw you was at the Orpheum like two days ago!" I say sarcastically. We start laughing hysterically. I can't help but look at Luke, he was talking to Reg and Lex when this girl walked up behind him. 

 I couldn't help but stare. Who is she? "You okay?" I heard Nick say. "Oh yeah, I am totally fine." I said. "Sounds good. Oh- I bought you this while you were preforming!" He said hanging me a cup of rich hot chocolate. "Thanks Nick!" I say while taking a sip.

An hour passes by and I keep glancing at Luke and this girl. They are laughing and talking....like a lot. Who in the world is she? I see Reggie and Alex say goodbye before poofing, but that girl is still there with Luke? 

They talk for awhile before Luke looks at me. He pecks the girls cheek before saying goodbye and poofs out. WHAT IN THE WORLD- WHO IS THAT AND WHY AND HAHWDHI

"Well, it's getting late I should get going." Nick says looking at his phone. "Oh yeah for sure! We should do this more often." I say while getting up to hug him. "Bye Jules!" He says. STOP CALLING ME JULES!! "Bye Nick." I say smiling. 

I will find out who this girl is.
