Izuku

"Ochaco wait for me!" I yelled out to my only friend.

It's been a few months since I woke up outside that building. I met Ochaco that day and we've been together ever since. She's like a sister to me and I love her.

I heard that mom killed herself shortly after abandoning me. I guess the guilt was too much for her. I remember the day I woke up like it was yesterday.

~Flashback~

"Hey, are you ok?"

I slowly opened my eyes to be met by a blurry figure. I blinked a few times and slowly sat up. I winced slightly at the pain I felt in my head. Memories of what happened earlier immediately flooded my head.

SHE DRUGGED ME AND LEFT ME TO DIE! How could she do that to me? The figure reached its hand out to me and I took it. I stood up and finally got a good look at the young girl.

The moonlight illuminated her face as she smiled at me. She had medium-length brown hair, big brown eyes, and rosy pink cheeks.

Ochaco Uraraka

She has a high enough level to be a pro hero and she's a beta. She has good stats.

"Thank you, I'm Izuku Midoriya." I smile at her.

"I'm Ochaco Uraraka! What are you doing out here?" She asks.

"My mom drugged me and left me here. What about you?" I ask.

"My mom and dad hurt me so I ran away," she looks down sadly "Hey you can live with me!" She says smiling again.

"Ok sure," I give her a small smile.

I pick up my bag with one hand while grabbing her hand with the other. She brought me to an old small warehouse that was surprisingly clean on the inside.

There was a large crate with two smaller crates on either side in the middle of the floor like a table. On the other side of the room was an old mattress with lots of pillows and blankets.

"Welcome home!" She said with a large smile.

~Flashback End~

"Hurry up Izuku!" She yelled back.

She was running too fast and I lost track of her. Oh no I have to find her before something happens. I start running around yelling out her name. Why is it so silent! Why isn't she answering me?! I narrowly miss a large branch as I stumbled through the woods.

"OCHA-"

I'm cut off by that similar cold feeling as when mom drugged me. The more I walk in this direction the colder I get. It's like something is freezing me from the inside out. I climb up a large hill and stop wide-eyed. Ochaco was hugging a wolf pup crying as a large bear stood over her.

"I won't let you hurt him!" She yelled out crying.

Before I can think clearly my feet are already moving on their own. I'm now standing in front of Ochaco with my arms out. I'll gladly sacrifice my life if it means she can get away safely.

The bear growls as it slowly makes it's way closer. The pup jumps out of Ochaco's arms and runs in front of me. The bear swipes at the pup and I quickly grab it. My vision turns black for a second before I'm suddenly standing in a dark place.

The sky is a navy blue color and I'm standing in what looks like water. I turn around but it just continues on forever. A voice suddenly fills my head snapping me out of my dazed state.

"I can help"

I look around then down to see the wolf pup staring up at me.

"Please let me save you and the girl," The pup says desperately.

"How?" I ask confused.

"Give me a name and I'll gladly become yours. You and that girl are risking your lives for me. Please let me repay you." The pup answers.

This must be my quirk contract. I'm guessing this is how it works. I kneel down in front of the pup. He then lays down on his stomach. I think for a second before coming up with the perfect name.

I place my hand on his head as glowing blue particles surround us. We're suddenly back in front of the bear. It looks like no time has passed at all. I look down at the pup to see that he was now an adult-sized wolf with words above his head.

He's going to grow up to be an Alpha, good. I think I fully understand the Contract now. Thank you Analysis for enhanced intelligence. If it wasn't for you we would definitely be killed in this fight.

I held out my hand, "Ōkami level 1 Sonic Bark"

Ōkami turned around to face the large bear before us. He lowered his head slightly as the fur on his body stood up. His throat glowed a bright blue as a burst of pure energy shot out of his mouth.

The impact sent the bear flying as it hit tree after tree. Ōkami got lower to the ground as I climbed onto his back. I reached my hand out to Ochaco and she grabbed it. I pulled her up onto Ōkami and she held on to me tightly as he ran.

"Izuku what was that it was so cool!" She yelled giggling.

"It was my quirk! We should test it out some more!" I yelled back also laughing.

Riding on Ōkami's back is so fun. I've always wanted to try horseback riding but this is so much better. I tell Ōkami which way to go and Ochaco burst into fits of laughter every time he takes a sharp turn.

The moon was shining brightly and it made the forest look beautiful. The way it made the plants and trees look like they were glowing. The fireflies surrounded us and brightened as we went past.

The way Ochaco and I laughed and played around. For the first time in a long time, I felt at peace. I felt pure happiness and was having the time of my life.

For the first time in a long time, I felt like a kid again. I wish this could last forever but life never works out the way you want.
