Izuku and Kaminari grabbed their lunches, still holding hands, and looked around the cafeteria. Izuku sniffed the air and started walking in the direction of his pack.

As they got to the table they saw two empty seats Bakugo had left for them. Izuku sat next to his mate while Kaminari sat at the end of the table. Kirishima sat on the opposite side of Bakugo.

Shinso and Shoto sat in the seats across from Izuku and Kaminari. Despite their mate marks disappearing they did remain as friends. Sero and Mina walked over and sat beside Shoto and Shinso.

Kaminari poked Izuku's side and whispered in his ear, "Give them a chance"

Mina smiled brightly at Izuku, "Aizawa have your injuries healed?"

"Yes, I fully recovered a while ago." Izuku signed.

"That's good!"

Momo, Jirou, Hito, and Hōseki came over filling in the remaining seats. Hito immediately jumped back up and ran to the opposite end of the table throwing herself at Izuku. Izuku growled at the annoying girl clinging to him.

"Zuku your back! I missed my angry little bean so much!" Hito gushed.

"Hito didn't we just have a discussion about respecting others' boundaries?" Momo sighed as she came over prying Hito away from Izuku.

"Aweee" Hito pouted.

"Sorry about that Aizawa I thought we had her restrained." Hōseki apologized.

Izuku just angrily grunted and slid his mask down to eat a grape.

"Izu stop being so mean. You should try and make some friends." Kaminari scolded.

"Fine" Izuku signed.

"I've been meaning to ask, are you and Izuku mates?" Jirou asked Kaminari.

"No he's ours," Bakugo said possessively as both Izuku and Kirishima took a fry from his tray.

He glared at them but said nothing going back to his food. The rest of class 1-A who had been listening in on their conversation went silent.

They then crowded the table asking the mates a million questions. Kaminari quickly took Izuku's headphones from around his neck and slid them over Izuku's ears.

"Can you shut the fuck up and mind your own damn business?!" Bakugo yelled annoyed.

They all quieted down and walked back to the other table mumbling to themselves. Izuku was slightly whimpering due to how badly his ears were hurting.

Kirishima stood up and went over to his mate helping Kaminari comfort him. Shoto unzipped the small backpack Shinso wore. He dug around inside it for about a minute before he found what he had been looking for.

"Here Izu" Shoto reached over the table.

Izuku quickly grabbed the sucker and popped it into his mouth. Bakugo carefully removed Izuku's headphones to inspect his ears. Bakugo noticed the red in Izuku's hair around his ears and was pissed.

Small sparks went off in his palms and Kirishima quickly calmed him down. Black and green swirled around Izuku's hands as he placed them over his ears. After a minute or two, he slowly removed his hands and his ears twitched one at a time.

"What was in that?" Sero asked.

"Recovery Girl and Principal Nezu made them as a backup energy source for Izu in case he needed to heal but wasn't outside," Shinso explained.

"How'd they even think of that?" Hito placed a finger on her chin.

"He asked if they could make something like that since he doesn't like taking energy from people." Kaminari gently rubbed one of Izuku's ears between his fingers.
