Yes I know Chapter 40 is gone, I deeply apologize.
It just disappeared and I can't get it back so don't ask.

Here's a summary from what I can remember (It's been years since I wrote this💀)

What happened was their parents had a dinner party to get to know each other since their kids are mated. One of Kiri's moms dislikes Izuku and makes offhanded and rude comments all night. Ultimately Izu and Denki are hurt and upset and just goes upstairs. Kiri checks on them and apologizes for his mom and they tell him he isn't at fault.

As soon as he leaves they pass out, not long after they're found unconscious and are rushed to recovery girl. They don't understand what happened to them or why they won't wake up. Katsuki is panicked and angry and thinks Kiri or his mom is at fault causing the two to fight.

Bakugo paced around outside of recovery girls office. Kirishima quietly sat in a chair just as worried for their mates. Yamada had his arm around the boy trying to console him.

When everything happened Bakugo assumed Kirishima's mother did something. Kirishima said that they didn't know that for sure and that she'd never go that far. He tried to calm Bakugo down and said they should wait until they know what happened first.

Bakugo, blinded by rage, claimed Kirishima was taking her side and didn't care for their mates. Bakugo said some pretty hurtful things, even saying that if they died it was his fault and that he'd be dead to him.

Kirishima was heartbroken by this and completely shut down. He hadn't said a word since then and would just stare ahead blankly. The door opened and Aizawa stepped out with a worrying look.

"What's wrong are they ok?!" Bakugo said immediately.

"Bakugo you need to calm down your scent is getting too potent and it could make them worse," Aizawa said placing a hand on his shoulder.

Bakugo growled under his breath and stopped releasing negative pheromones.

"What'd she say Sho?" Yamada asked.

"It was my slip up, I didn't check his plate properly. He ate the mushrooms and tomato leaves-"

"What are you talking about? Deku doesn't have any food allergies." Bakugo cut him off.

"That was before his quirks manifested. Some foods that are poisonous to the animals he has are poisonous to him. That's why he passed out, but what I don't understand is why Kaminari passed out too.

Chiyo said that she couldn't find anything wrong with Kaminari. Also she said that Izuku was completely healed when we got here. He should have woken up all on his own a while ago." Aizawa said stressed out and confused.

"So what does that mean?" Yamada asked.

"Well they're both ok but they're still asleep because they want to be. We just have to wait for them to wake themselves up. We have no idea when that'll happen." Aizawa sighed.

"Can I see them now?" Bakugo asked.

"Yeah it's fine, "

Bakugo didn't waste another second and rushed into the room. Kirishima then stood up and turned to leave the school.

"Kirishima? Where are you going?" Yamada called out.

"They're ok...so that means it's...ok for me to leave now. Ka- Bakugo doesn't want me here...I don't want to upset him more than I have." Kirishima said so low they could barely hear him.
