,,Y/N, where are you going?" Shit. You tried to be as quiet as possible. ,,Ehm...hey Lumin...nice to see you too!" You gave her fake smile. She just gave you had serious look. ,,Well... You know how we talked about Guizhong and Rex Lapis yesterday?" She just nod with quiet ,,hmh". ,,Well...I hear a lot of people talking about her but....you know that one adventurer?" ,,There is plenty of adventurers around," she crossed her arms. ,,He talked about this one mountain where you can offer food as thank you for Rex Lapis.." she sighed. ,,And let me guess you wanted to go there alone -you nod- and give there some food-" you interrupt her. ,,Not just some food..." You showed her your bag full of ingredients. ,,I want to make Bamboo Shoot soup!" You just smiled like an idiot.

You just made your way to mountain Aozang. It was piecefull everywhere with a nice atmosphere. You were almost at the top of the mountain when you felt something strange. Like..someone or something is following you.

,,Hey, Lumin! Paimon! This isn't funny!" You laughed and turned around. But. Noone was there. You decided that maybe it was really just a feeling and continued walking. You hummed some song that played in your head nonstop and think about the receipt you learned few days ago. You checked one more time if you have all the ingredients you need. Of course you have all.  Suddenly you heard a crack. You quickly turned around but still. Nothing was there. You took a deep breath before continuing.

Finally you made it an the top. You saw stone table with three seats. And beside there was a fireplace. You decided to just rest for a few seconds. You put the bag with ingredients on the ground and sat on the grass. You were watching the beautiful lake and the birds playing everywhere around the place. Such a piecefull view.

You don't know how long you were daydreaming but after some time you finally came back to reality. You stand up, grabbed the back and started preparing the food. You had to chuckle at the memory of Lumin warning you to net set whole mountain on fire.

Finally you the food was done. It smelled really good but you still decided to taste it. (Just in case *wink*). It wasn't bad, it was your first time making it alone and you weren't sure if it's exactly the taste but it wasn't bad. You put the bowl with finished food back on the table and looked at the sky. The sun were about to set down so the sky catched beautiful gold colour. ,,I hope Rex Lapis will enjoy it!" You smiled for yourself. You were actually proud that you made it this far.

,, I'm sure Rex Lapis appreciate it." You almost jumped at the sudden deep voice behind you. You turned around as fast as possible getting ready to fight whoever was there.

Seeing talk man with horns and scales made you more scared and more relaxed at the same time. Yeah. You were total mess. ,,I...you...I....eh.." you tried to say something but words didn't come. The man Infront of you just smirked. ,, It's okay, if I would want to hurt you I would do it when you stepped on this mountain." You just blinked. The man decided it will be just better to wait untill you wake up from shock. He just went to that stone table and sat on the place.

,,Hm..it tastes....good.." he looked at you and you finally force yourself to move. You carefully sat on the grass where you were sitting when you came here. ,,You can sit here...." He pointed to place Infront of him. ,,Uh..um.. it's..o-okay!" You blushed feeling so embarrassed.  He just nod.

,,I...should go.." you looked at the sky. It wasn't completely dark and you didn't want to spend the night in a wild alone.
,,Stay here," his voice was calm as the water in the lake Infront of the two of you.  ,,W-what?" You could feel your cheeks heating up.  ,,Spend a night here. Please?" His voice was so soft. You looked at him and as soon as you did you got lost in his eyes.  They were shining with gold. Kind of like the stars or the sun when it's about to go down. You couldn't find anything wrong on him. Not even a little thing. (Let's forget he is broke as me)

,,Why do you w-want me to stay he-here?" Your voice were shaking a bit. But it was just because you were really nervous at the moment.  ,,Tell me...why did you come here?" You wanted to tell him that you asked first but you better didn't. ,,Well....I wanted to thank Rex Lapis...I mean...you know.....you...for protecting our city..." You started playing with your hands and looked down.

,,And now..I want to thank you for your kindness," you looked at him again. He gave you small warm smile. You didn't know that time is flying so fast. It was already dark and the only light there were from the fire and fireflies. It was so beautiful. ,,It would be dangerous for you to go back alone at this hour," he looked at the sky. ,,Uh...I-I think you're right.." you let out a nervous laugh and sat back at your favourite grass. 

He sat beside you with a sigh. ,,You look...quit different from what I expected... Morax..." You finally were able to talk. Not that you didn't felt nervous anymore.  ,,Why is that?" You looked at the beautiful scene Infront of you and then back at the man. You carefully studied his horns and the scales on his neck and cheek with your eyes. ,,I.. don't know.." you didn't even know what exactly you were expected. Probably because you didn't think you will ever meet him.  

You just sat there and talked about things. Now you could finally relax. You talked about him and about you and about everything. You felt like all the stress and problems just disappear. Suddenly you felt him hand grabbing yours. When you looked at him he was looking at the sky. You decided you won't mention it and just enjoyed the moment.

Maybe you will learn more how to cook, if it means you have a chance to be like this again.
