I waited for a moment before the whole crowd erupted into cheers. I looked up at everyone, a mix of red, silver, and white moving along in a clapping motion. I looked around the crowd for Cedric but couldn't see him, and he was tall so the fact that I couldn't see him was beginning to frighten me. 

I heard everyone gasp and point behind me, and me being the curious person I am, I turned around. My hands flew up to my mouth almost immediately and I felt my eyes glass over as I stared at Cedric's position in front of me.

"Queenie, I know we are both young, and I know that I couldn't possibly ask something so serious of you right now, but I wanted to ask if you if you accept my promise. My promise to always love you, my promise to stick by you through thick and thin, my promise to always come back to you, and finally, my promise to exchange this ring for a real one.. when we're both ready." 

Hope filled his eyes as they scanned over my shocked features, my tears began to fall as I released my hands from my face. It took me a while to go over everything in my head. 

'd-does he love me this much?'

'd-do I love him this much? who am I kidding.. of course I do'

'is this just a prank? is this even real?' 

'am I dreaming?'

'am I ready for this? is Cedric the person I want to spend the rest of my life with? I mean I wasn't even sure if I wanted to date him, and here we are, in the best possible relationship I could ever ask for and I guess that's all love is, a blind leap into the unknown, hand in hand, and heart to heart.'

By the time I was finished with my thoughts, Cedric looked so unsure of himself that he was about to stand up and apologize before I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"yes." my answer came out barely above a whisper, but I saw his ears perk up as soon as the words left my lips

"yes?" he questioned, the lights coming back into his eyes

"yes." I confirmed, a little louder this time

The hall erupted into applause once more as Cedric got up from his place on the floor, slipping the ring onto my finger, and pulling me in by my waist into one of the best and most passionate kiss I'll probably ever experience.

When we broke apart I could've sworn I saw Professor Dumbledore hand over a couple of galleons to Madame but who knows, it could've been a trick of the light.

Once our little moment was over, Snape began pushing everyone out of the hall and telling them that the broom closets were off limits. Me and Cedric looked at each other and broke out into laughter. He held out his hand to me and I took it as we both began our way towards the Beauxbatons carriage.

I woke up with two arms wrapped tightly around my waist and the sun shining in on my face. I squinted at the light and wriggled my way out of Cedric's strong arms, when I was finally free I made my way towards the bathroom; I changed into my coat and boots and made my way into the cold of winter.

The minute I stepped foot out of the door, I was met with.. snow? Wait... IT'S SNOWING! I ran back inside the carriage and straight into my room.

"CEDRIC" I yelled making him jump up and off of the bed, scrambling off the floor, and getting into a defensive position

"w-what is it? are you okay? what's the sitch?' he led out, wide eyed

I laughed, "nothing Fluffy, I just wanted to let you know that it's snowing!" I exclaimed, doing a little spin with jazz hands at the end, using my powers to make a little bit of snow appear for dramatic effect

He rolled his eyes, but not before a small smile appeared on his face.

"well then, what are we waiting for? let's go play" he smiled 

"b-but you're only wearing sweat pants? you don't even have a shirt on! you're going to freeze!" he chuckled at my response and pulled out his wand, "accio winter jacket"

"oh.." I smiled sheepishly before grabbing his wrist and pulling him out of the carriage and into the snow

I immediately grabbed a tiny ball of snow and through it at Cedric's face. The look on his face after the snow fell off of it was impeccable and will always be engraved into my mind. Although what came next was not ideal.

The look of shock passed over his features and he began to grow a more mischievous looking one and made his way towards me, when he was only a couple feet away from me, he broke the horrible silence.

"You're so gonna regret that" and as soon as the final syllable left his lips, we were off, sprinting like to maniacs around the field next to the black lake. I kept running until I thought I lost him

I stopped and bent over trying to catch my breath, and before I could move I felt two hands wrapped around my waist and began to carry me around. I yelled, kicking and screaming, before breaking into laughter when I was thrown into a giant pile of snow. I felt someone land next to me and I looked over to see a soaked Cedric. 

"What did you do? go for a swim in the black lake?" I teased, knowing well that he was soaked because of my snowball that in all honestly wasn't that small

"no, actually the love of my life threw a massive snowball at me, can you believe it?" 

I decided to play along with his little game, "the audacity that lady holds! you must really love her seeing as you aren't murdering her right at this moment"

he chuckled a bit, "yea, I've had the thought of marriage on my mind for a while now, but I know we're both far too young, I mean I'm only seventeen, which honestly I don't see anything wrong with getting married at that age, but she's only fifteen, I mean she still has the rest of her school life to have fun! Who am I to take that away from her?" he looked down at my hand and began to fidget with the promise ring he gave me

"well did you ever think that she said yes to your promise for a reason?" I said looking over at him,  my eyes on the break of tears

"but what if I'm not good enough for her, what if I accidentally mess up or even die! I mean we both are in a dangerous, wizard killing tournament for Merlin's sake! what if I never get to fulfill the final promise.." his voice broke as the final part of his question left his lips

"hey hey, don't think like that" I said, bringing my hand to his face and making him look at me, "we will make it, okay? and yes, I would love to have a future with you Cedric.. you are my one and only, you don't need to ever worry about that, and I love you. For now, I think we need to lighten the mood though so get up." I instructed him, getting up myself

"Why? what are we doing?"

"building a snowman." I smiled

A little while later me and Cedric had finished putting together two snowmen, one girl and one boy, we left a small sign in front of the two and made them hold hands.

the sign read:

I want you to know that I'm never leaving, cause I'm Mrs. Snow 'til death we'll be freezing, yea you are my home, my home for all seasons, so come on let's go...
