Cedric grabbed my hand and drug me towards where I assumed the common room was. We kept running through different halls, down multiple staircases, and past many confused looking students until we reach a bunch of barrels.

"Barrels?" I questioned, slightly confused as to how there was a common room around here somewhere

"just watch" Cedric whispered, smiling ever so lightly

He began tapping a little rhythm against one of the barrels and right after his fingers left the wood, a few of the barrels began moving and revealing a door to what I am assuming to be the Hufflepuff common room.

"brilliant" I whispered as he grabbed my hand once again, tugging it towards the door

Cedric opened the door into what looked like the comfiest room ever. There were yellow couches and seats scattered throughout the entire room, lovely plants hanging in every corner, and the brilliant light of the morning seeping through the windows above, filling the room with a certain warmth.

Cedric motioned me over to one of the couches lying in the middle of the room, patting the spot next to him. I sat down, crossing my legs simply out of habit, and rested my head on his shoulder.

"What are we going to do now?" I laughed, my head bouncing a bit on his shoulder

"How about we get to know each other better?" he asked, turning his head to face me

"okay, well what do you want to know?" I asked, genuinely liking the idea of getting to know each other more

"everything." he smiled

"Well, my name is Belle Antoinette Alarie, formerly Delacour-" I was interrupted by Cedric

"YOU'RE MARRIED?!" he asked, his expression holding a mixture of surprise and defeat

I laughed at his reaction.

"no, no I am not, I just thought I was a Delacour, well technically I am, until my true identity was revealed on my first day at Beauxbatons during the sorting ceremony," I paused to see if he was following, he nodded and I continued, "the founders of the school Julian Bellefeuille, Aurelie Papillonlisse, and Quentin Ombrelune appeared in the form of what somewhat resembled a Patronus, they told me a myth and also a prophesy, apparently the myth was about my ancestors and the prophesy about me. That's how I learnt who I really was, the last Alarie, heir of Magic and Resurrection, and the enchantress." I finished, he was looking at me and his mouth was hanging open a bit

"now it's official, you are the most interesting person I know" he stated, his mouth still hanging open

"you don't even know everything about me" I laughed

"well let's finish, what are we waiting for!" he motioned with his hands while he was talking, only making the situation funnier than it was

We sat there for a moment, the laughter dying down, silence taking over. I decide to be the one to break it because why not.

"well are you going to ask me a question or not?"

After hours of fluid conversation, an abundance of laughs, and more questions than I can even count, it was time to head up to the great hall for Cedric to place his name in the goblet of fire. To say I was nervous was an understatement, I was scared, I was anxious, I was worried, I have all of these different emotions flowing through me in every direction you could possibly think of, leaving me with pain in different parts of my body.
