"You look fine, my dear" My mum said to me when I pushed the upper half of my body back in my closet to try and find a new outfit. I sighed and took another look in my mirror, still wearing the same clothes. I guess my outfit didn't look too bad, I was wearing a green and black flanel, black skinny jeans and my black combat boots. I quickly glanced at the clock and saw I was supposed to pick up Amarah in 5 minutes. I grabbed my phone, wallet and Luke's car keys. I told him about the date and he insisted that I took his car so I wouldn't look like a loser.
I nervously stood in front of my neighbours door, waiting for the door to be opened and my beautiful date to come out. The door opened a few minutes after I rang the bell and a small woman stood in the doorway. My eyes widened, not expecting her mum, I'm guessing, to open the door. We haven't met properly yet.
"H-Hello, ma'am" I stuttered. She smiled and greeted me back.
"I guess you're here for my daughter?" She asked politly. I nodded but didn't say anything.
"Well, she's still getting ready but she will be done soon, do you want to come in and wait?" The woman asked. I nodded and stepped inside, following her into the living room.
"I'm Emily, by the way" The woman -Emily- said. I told her my name too and we had a small conversation.
After a few minutes of talking to Emily I heard footstept coming down the steps. Emily and I both turned our heads to the hallway, where the living room was attached to, and saw a girl walking, more like skipping, down the stairs.
"She's rea-" The girl began before her eyes landed on me. She looked a bit confused before giving me a bright smile. "Hello, random guy sitting in Amarah's living room," She said. I gave her an awkward smile and wave, which she returned and then turned back to Emily.
"As I was saying, She's ready, the guy coming soon?" She finished her sentence. Emily gave me a look as if saying who I was. I akwardly cleared my throat and the girl turned her attention back to me.
"I'm guessing the guy you mean, is me" I said, looking at the ground, trying to hide my blush.
"Oh" She giggled. She didn't say anything anymore but darted back up the stairs. I looked at Emily, asking what just happened without saying anything. She shrugged, stood up and walked towards the hallway. I quickly followed her and akwardly leaned against the wall, waiting for whatever is happening right now. A few minutes later I heard a door open and close before seeing the same girl walking down the stairs again. Yes, actually walking, not skipping or sliding down the stairs, but walking.
I looked at her for the first time since she made an appearance today. She had blue hair, pulled up in a pony tail. She was wearing a Msyday Parade shirt, shorts and tights. She was pretty short, but still very cute. I looked away when I heared someone else walking down the stairs. When I looked up my mouth literally dropped and my eyes were as big as plates.
A beautiful girl dressed in a black dress with lace on top, black tights, black convers and a penguin necklace. Her hair was flowing down her back and over her shoulders. She was gorgeous, no, more than that. There were no words to describe how beautiful she looks. She looked down at her shoes, being the shy, sweet girl she is.
"H-Hi" I stuttered. I looked down to, hiding my blush.
"Okay, little love birds. Get your jackets, move your butts outside and in the car. No off you go!" The still unkown girl pushed us out of the door, throwing Amarah's jacket at her and closing the door. Amarah still hasn't looked up but her red face was very obvious, whether it was embarressment of her friend, or the way she looked.
