As soon as we got off the boat people were staring at us. Which in turn made me completely shy and hid behind Gon and Killua. Gon was just happy to be home as Killua looked at me confused.
"Sakura, why are you hiding?" He whispered to me. Gon was greeting everyone who acknowledged him as we walked past everyone.
"There are so many people!" I whined. Not many people focused on Gon, most of the attention was on me and Killua, we were new and they had never seen us before.
Well, maybe they've seen Killua, since he's the child of a family of assassins. Killua seemed like he was used to it, but I was the complete opposite.
"For a people person, I never would have guessed that you would be scared of groups of people." He told me.
"That's with a small group, not a full dock of people!" I whisper-yelled at him. He took my hand and carefully dragged me behind him. I could tell he didn't think I was healed enough.
He even opted to carry me. I realized that we were holding hands and my face heated up. We started walking away from the place of people. I quickly pulled my hand from his.
Unbothered, he stuck his hands in his pockets and continued following Gon as we headed up a hill. I took my time wanting to look around at everything.
Gon was lucky to grow up here, it was so pretty. "Aunt Mito!" Gon suddenly yelled out before he started running. I was waiting for Killua to follow him but he stuck with me.
As we came over the hill his aunt looked at us and I gave a small smile. "You brought friends?" She asked as we approached.
"Hi, I'm Sakura, this is Killua. We all met during the hunter exam." I kept my smile, putting my hand out, in turn, she smiled and shook my hand.
"Yes, Gon spoke about you all in the letter he sent." She told me. She then greeted Killua before we made our way inside.
Gon and Mito started discussing that Gon and Killua should take a bath, and me before we ate. I let the boys go first since I wanted to talk to the ladies in the house.
I think they wanted to talk to me too. "You like the white haired boy." The older woman spoke. It wasn't even a question, she just stated it.
"He's my best friend, of course I do. So is Gon. They're both really sweet and there's never a dull moment with them!" She hummed as Mito sat down across from me.
