Just like I have been for the past week, I was thrown into another outfit by Kikyo. With the same color, pink. The top was pink, ruffled, and on the shoulders with a white skirt with flowers.
I don't know why she was dressing me up. Considering the only people I've actually seen were her, Illumi, and Kalluto.
Though I think I almost saw Killua's dad the other day. I know everyone's seen me but I can't catch them.
The only person I haven't seen and they haven't seen me was Killua. Defeated the whole purpose of me being here. I was here for him not to have Illumi try and teach me whatever nen was.
I didn't trust him, or anyone else for that matter. Though he really wasn't that bad, I just didn't like him.
He was tall, emotionless, and prettier than me. Odd things to put together, but it made me jealous.
My favorite thing about learning nen with him was when he let me braid his hair. It took a lot more convincing than I'd like to admit. Even then he didn't want me to.
So I told him if he's training me, I should be able to do something as a reward. I got lucky and got to do two braids. His hair was super soft.
Even with amazing opportunities like braiding his hair I still wanted to see Killua.
Enough to where I finally decided it was time to either demand to see Killua or find him myself. I didn't even know if he was alive or okay.
I'd like to think they'd keep him alive. Since according to Kikyo, the white-haired men in the family are the heirs.
"Hey, Illumi?" I sat up watching as he turned his head. We were in the training room or whatever he called it. "Where is Killua?" He didn't answer even if he was staring at me.
I knew he heard me and I didn't want to repeat myself. I sighed leaning back again. Every time I ask he avoids it. Most of the time by changing the subject.
I wasn't sure how it was so hard to answer that question. "Your...friends..." He definitely struggled with that word. "...are here, and on their way for Killua. They have opened the gate. However, mother nor father will let them leave with Kil."
About time he answered with something good. It was only a matter of time before Gon makes it here and we can leave.
Don't get me wrong, it's not so bad here. Even though it's isolated and I still think Kikyo is a little crazy.
I'd still rather be locked in a room with spiders than have to stay here. I'm kidding, I would not.
"You say that, but we're leaving." I smiled. We're all leaving Killua, Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, and me. I wouldn't leave without him, and I'm convinced neither would Gon.
As Illumi tried to change the subject, it wasn't long before Kikyo was yelling through the house. Things about just getting him back, and that he can't leave.
Knowing exactly what was happening I stood up. As any smart person would I ran out of the house. I know there wouldn't be a chance they'd make it to the mansion.
I could only guess they were in the place the trail continued to where the lady with the staff was. Since Kikyo walked to the mansion from a side path and not the straight path.
Even if I thought I was pretty fast it wasn't fast enough. Illumi caught onto my arm. "I can't let you leave." I'm sure his mother would be devastated.
I crossed my arms the best I could ignoring his grip. "We can bond more on pointless training I'll learn with everyone else...or maybe I can do your hair again?" He let go fast. Though so.
"Well then bye." He began to walk away but I quickly hugged him. I did like him, in my own way. If you really think about what he could've gone through it makes sense what made him how he is.
He went still. Like he was paralyzed and couldn't move. Knowing he wasn't going to hug me back I continued to run off. Maybe he's never been hugged before which made me feel pretty bad.
Following the trail, to the fenced area, I met the girl. I noticed that a part of it was broken.
Which meant one thing, definitely had something to do with Gon. Hearing something rustled in the tree I turned my head. Seeing big eyes staring at me.
What. The. Hell. It was like a really big dog. He was skinny, with huge pointy ears, unnecessary long legs, and his mouth was as long as two tall people. His paws looked like human hands.
If anything could guard something, this definitely could. Wasn't long before it stepped further out.
As someone who would normally go 'here puppy' no matter the size of the dog I was frozen. Completely terrified.
The creature's presence was more terrifying than Illumi and Hisoka's bloodlust combined. I still found myself placing my hand out, stepping forward like I was some kind of animal whisperer.
He growled at me and I stumbled a step back. My name was yelled and suddenly I was hit. Then I rolled ending up under whatever it was that hit me. It was definitely too light to be a giant dog.
Beautiful blue eyes met mine and I smiled. Killua. I didn't fail to notice the scratches on his face. "I know he's interesting, but that was just stupid." He snapped at me.
Not even a hello? Okay. I laughed, wondering how he was here after me though I thought he got out first. "My old man let me go. Gon is here, and I'm meeting them at the Butler quarters."
Good to know. Didn't tell me how he got here after me but I'll take what I can get. He got off me, helping me up. As I dusted myself off. Hope this doesn't stain the skirt. I looked back at the creature.
He was still watching us, and I still wanted to pet him badly. Walking towards him again, as Killua told me he wasn't helping me.
I rolled my eyes as the closer I got the quieter the growls got. Before I knew it on touching his muzzle as he softly pressed into it.
I smiled. He wasn't completely soft but at least he's softer than I thought he was. "He's adorable." Killua grabbed my hand and pulled away with him.
"I'm sure you're the only one who thinks that." Does he not think he's adorable? How rude.
"You don't mean that." He let me go as we started to track a different trail. Shortcut? If the dog wanted to eat me, I'm sure he would've. I looked at Killua, especially his hands.
"Are you okay?" I asked. I grabbed his hand looking at the marks, and the bruises on his wrists like he was hanging by them.
"Nothing I haven't been though." His hand spiked from mine, causing me to jump at the sudden movement. That's not a good thing. "I'm fine."
I nodded not believing it. We walked quietly to the butler's quarters. I'm glad Killua found me, or I would've been lost.
I could've asked Illumi how to get there if it was in my head at that point. I think this is better though.
