Once we entered the underground fighting area Gon decided to go first. Before it even started it was cancelled while papers were passed around. It was a paper of the Phantom Troupe members.
I only recognized three of them. The Frankenstein, the girl I won against, and Machi. "We should call Kurapika, let him know they're close." I told them.
We tried to get him on the phone but he didn't answer. The reward for one of them was huge, dead or alive, and we needed the money. Though I'm sure they aren't easy to catch.
"So what do we do now?" Killua asked.
"We could capture one of them and get a reward for it!" What's the harm in trying? They all looked at me like I was crazy.
"The point of us staying together is to keep you away from them." Killua held the bridge of his nose.
"It was just an idea." I defended. "We need the money."
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to try if we find them." Killua shrugged and Gon agreed.
The next day Gon used his license to make money, and so we could gather more information on the Phantom Troupe and Greed Island.
I decided while they were looking at something Nen infused to wander off. I wasn't going to go far and I only planned on looking around. I headed into a nearby shop and made sure my phone was on.
I stared at the clothes before I heard a voice. "Just cause you're looking at it, doesn't mean I'm buying again." I smiled, turned around, and hugged him. He chuckled and patted my head.
I backed up to get a better look and saw he was dressed normally and his hair was down. He looked...normal? "You look weird." I was not used to this.
"Well, you look...like you're alone." He looked around. About that...I rubbed my neck.
"Are you really? You know it's not safe." I rolled my eyes and shook his whole arm.
"I figured that since they're wanted they'd stay in hiding. Plus you're here now so I'm good." His nails weren't painted anymore.
"You took the paint off." I crossed my arms. I changed the topic.
"I told you it wasn't staying on." I nodded, stepping away to look at more things. I'm glad he was here, Killua wouldn't have to worry about anything now.
"Your friends won't like you running off. They are well aware of the situation." So am I, from being constantly reminded by everyone. I took a snow globe off the shelf, shaking it slightly.
"I'm not that far, and I have a phone now so they can call me." He took the globe from my hands, putting it back on the shelf.
"Your phone has been going off and you haven't answered it." I sighed. I just go here. Pulling my phone out I rejected the call and texted them.
