"Well this is just great, I thought I'd never see that guy again," Sonic said in frustration, crossing his arms while eyeing the floating Mobian in annoyance.
"You know that creep?" Raph questioned him.
"Yeah, he calls himself Infinite, he once helped Eggman try conquering the world until I stopped him, though he's been gone a long time to the point everyone thought he had died," Sonic replied.
"Seems like you were wrong," Leo said and took out his twin katana, his brothers taking out their own weapons as well while going in their infamous battle stances.
"What is it that you want now Infinite?" Amy demanded with her teeth bared and hammer in her hands.
Infinite stayed silent and fired down more cubes at Team Sonic and the Turtles, having them all scatter to avoid getting hurt as Donnie threw some ninja stars at him, only to miss when the masked jackal moved out of the way in the blink of an eye and shot down an energy ball at him, having the purple masked turtle yelp and throw himself out of harm's way and get kicked across the face when Infinite zipped down to him, the strength in his attack sending him crashing through a tree.
"How the heck is he as fast you?!" Raph questioned Sonic, blocking a kick coming from Infinite and he swiped his sai, the red masked turtle's attack failing when Infinite flew upwards.
"I'm not sure, but he isn't gonna win this fight!" Sonic replied before he spin dashed up towards Infinite.
Infinite whipped out of the way, formed an energy ball in his hand before firing it at Sonic, the blue hedgehog groaning as he got struck by it and fell, pain searing through his body as he tried to push himself up, but only ended up falling back down before Infinite floated down in front of him.
"Seems that you're losing your edge after our last encounter," Infinite said, his voice slightly deeper as he lifted Sonic up by his bandana. "Perhaps I can help with that." He inquired darkly, the jackal's mask glowing a bit as he formed another energy ball in his free hand.
Suddenly, Metal Sonic swiped his claws at Infinite, hitting him on his mask as the jackal immediately lost his grip on Sonic and backed up while the Badnik stood in front of the blue speedster, the sight of what just happened alone having Sonic feel purely surprised at his robotic doppelganger protecting him.
"Back off now or you will be eliminated." Metal droned sternly.
"So it's true what the Doctor said, you're deformed from being destroyed and reprogrammed." Infinite inquired calmly, seeming unfazed from Metal's attack.
Metal Sonic stayed silent and fired his laser at Infinite, missing when the masked Mobian moved aside in the blink of an eye and fired a group of cubes at him. Metal glanced at where Infinite now stood and moved out of harm's way as Mikey started swinging his nunchucks at him, only for the jackal to sweep his foot at the orange masked turtle's feet, knocking him off his feet before punching him on his stomach in mid-air, having him tumble on the ground.
"Mikey!" Leo yelled before charging at Infinite, swinging his twin katana at him.
Infinite dodged each swing before grabbing Leo's arm, twisting it to the point where the blue masked turtle groaned loudly, his katana falling on the ground and the masked Mobian discarded him aside, having Leo land on Raph who had just stood up from crashing.
'This is insane! How the heck did Infinite get stronger?!' Sonic thought, alarm, and panic coursing through his body.
'Any idea how we can defeat him?' Metal Sonic asked him mentally.
