I'm not really trying to distance myself from you. No, not at all~ I've just been quite uneasy these days due to experiencing several migraines this week alone.

I think they were triggered after years of recovery. My doctor said it's completely normal for someone who has had some type of head trauma accident.

On the plus side, I feel like my memories are coming back. 😄

Omg- That's Junki-kun?! 😯

Wait... He's actually my oshi in JO1! 😳

This is interesting... 😅

So, when's he coming back?

Did he already arrive?

Kei-kun, can I tell you a secret?

Well, you see... There's been this really weird guy emailing me lately and I'm not 100% sure if I should trust him. He claims to be an old childhood friend but I'm not sure if I should just go ahead and meet with him.

He sent me another email just a couple of days ago. He asked me if I want to meet him next Sunday, but I don't know if I really should... 😅

Kei-kun, what do you think I should do?

Should I talk to him in person this time?

I really have no idea about what I should do...

(*AN: The second portion of text will focus on Keigo and I'll sometimes be including the third person narrative in order to add more suspense/ drama to the story. Hope y'all are okay with that!)

Keigo glimpsed outside his bedroom window, thinking back on his childhood friend Emiri's email. According to her email, she had been experiencing severe migraines for the past week. Keigo couldn't help himself but to be worried about his friend. After all, they've been friends for God knows how long and all he wanted was to make sure that she was okay. He felt like it was somehow his responsibility to care for her. After all, Emiri was now living alone since her parents had passed when she was younger in a freak accident.

"If it wasn't for that night..." Keigo's voice trailed off as he massaged the temples of his forehead and let out a deep sigh. "none of this would've ever happened,"

Flashback, eleven years ago. July 2009. Emiri and her group of childhood friends, Takumi, Keigo, Marina, and Junki are out in the forest playing a game of hide n' seek.

"Okay!" Emiri's friend Marina called out as she quickly uncovered her eyes from counting up until the number twenty. "Twenty! Ready or not, here I come!" She glimpsed all around at her surroundings. "Taku-min? Kei-kun? Jun-kun? Emi-chi?" Marina stared up at the great expanse of night sky above her. It certainly was getting dark and she was starting to get worried about playing outside at this hour, even though her parents specifically told her not to.

"Boo!" she heard a loud voice behind her yell, startling her and making her cry. "Ah! Mari-chan, I'm so sorry!" It was one of Emiri and Marina's other childhood friends Kawanishi Takumi. Takumi squatted down, patting Marina upon the head and trying to comfort her in order to stop her from crying. "Please don't cry! I-I'm sorry!"

"Taku-min..." Marina's voice trailed off as she stood back up. "Alright, I'm done crying but we should get back home since it's starting to get pretty dark... Help me find the others!"

Takumi nodded in reply and started to help Marina in finding the others to no avail. "I can't find them!" he exclaimed as he sat on a nearby rock.

"This is starting to scare me, Taku-min!"

"What is?"

"It's getting late and we still haven't found everyone... What if they got lost?"

Meanwhile, with Emiri, Junki, and Keigo.

"Kei-kun!" Emiri called out to her friend Sato Keigo. "I can't see anything!"

"Don't worry, Emi-chan!" Her other friend Kono Junki said gently, holding her hand in his. "We'll find our way back to Taku-min and Mari-chan, I just know it!"

Suddenly, Emiri slips on a rock, hitting her head.

"Emi-chan?!" Junki yelled, shocked and calling out for help.

Flashback end, present day
