Although you are receiving this email from Emi-chan's email address, she is currently at Blue Heart Hospital after having fallen down a flight of stairs at her apartment.

The doctors said that she's currently in critical condition after experiencing some head trauma due to the fall and the loss of a great amount of blood. I am currently at the hospital with her. If you and the rest of her friends would like to stop by to check on her, please do so.

I know that she would gladly appreciate it!

Keigo's POV

I read the email over again. I couldn't believe that Emiri somehow fell down a flight of stairs and some random dude is now with her at Blue Heart Hospital. Whoever this Jun guy is, I hope he's not some weirdo. In order to find out his true identity, I decided to head over to the hospital along with Emiri and Takumi's new college friend Kinjo Sukai. "So you're saying that there's this random dude that sent you a reply to one of the emails you sent Emi-chan?" Sukai asked of me as we boarded the bus. "That's just kinda sus, I must say... Also, why was he even at Emi-chan's apartment in the first place? What if he's a stalker?"

"Sukai-kun," I began, turning to face him directly. "Did Emi-chan ever talk to you about this Jun guy?" Curious, I waited for Sukai to answer. There has to be someone who knows who the hell this Jun guy is!

Clearing his throat, Sukai took the seat next to me and stated, "Yeah, Emi-chan's told me about him before. Apparently, they've been talking to each other for about a month now. It seems like this Jun dude knows her, and for quite a long time too. Even claims to be one of her childhood friends,"

"Childhood friends, huh?" Rubbing my chin, I thought back to all of the friends Emiri and I had in common from the past. Of course, there was Taku-min and Mari-chan. But who else was there?

Wait... Could it be?

No way! Is it really Junki?

"You know, Sukai..." I began again. "I think I know who it could be,"

Junki's POV

Meanwhile, as Keigo and Sukai are on their way to Blue Heart Hospital to see Emiri, Junki refuses to leave her side. Feeling guilty from all the pain he assumes he had caused towards her, tears begin to fall from his eyes.

"Emi-chi..." As my voice trailed off, I could only stare at Emiri. She had been laying down on the same hospital bed for nearly three days now, unconscious. No, she wasn't in some sort of coma. I wouldn't call it that, but she hasn't regained consciousness. "Please wake up! I wanted to apologize in person this time! I wanted to apologize for all the pain I've caused you! Emi-chi, please!" Taking her frail hand into mine, I felt a gentle squeeze.

I have to tell a nurse about this!

"Mmm..." I heard Emiri say, her eyes still closed. "Who are you?" Suddenly, her eyes opened. Glimpsing over at me, she watched as I rapidly took my hand away from hers. "Ow!" she exclaimed, gripping the side of her head. "I must be dreaming... There's no way my JO1 oshi is here!" I could tell that Emi-chan felt uneasy at the mere sight of me.

But I was of course smug.

After all, I am her oshi in JO1.

"Emi-chi..." I began. As she turned to face me once more, she gave me a confused look.

"Wait, how did you know my childhood nickname?"

"It's me! It's me, Jun!" I exclaimed, tears trailing down my face. She really didn't remember me and all the past memories we shared together. I guess she only knows me as a member of her favorite Jpop boy group.

"Jun? The guy that's been emailing me? You're Jun?" Emiri slowly sat up, gripping her head in pain. "Ow!"

"Do you remember anything from the past two days?" I asked of her.

"All I remember is that I was walking down a flight of stairs at my apartment complex and my book fell down from up high and as I tried to reach down for it, I experienced a severe migraine and slipped as I tried to cling onto the railing. Also, I remember some guy telling me to hold on... Then I blacked out," Emiri stated back in response

"Emi-chi, I'm sorry..."

"Eh? Wh-Why are you apologizing?"

"I'm the cause! I'm the cause of all your unhappiness!"

"Jun- I mean, Junki-kun... Err I have no idea what you're talking about!"

Releasing a heavy exhale, I glimpsed back up at Emiri and said, "Remember that day your parents were supposed to pick you up from school before the accident that claimed both of their lives?" Emiri nodded quietly in reply. "I- I was riding my bike through the rain and my brakes suddenly stopped working and I swerved into their car. Apparently, the car tried to avoid me as well and that's when they crashed into a nearby tree..."

"Yes, I remember that day clearly. I still don't get it though. Why are you apologizing?"

"Eh?" I began again, awfully shocked that she had no idea about what I was talking about. "You're not upset? After all, I caused the accident that took your parents' lives... How are you not mad about this?" 

"Junki-kun," Emiri gave me a smile. A smile I've missed for all these past eleven years I haven't been able to see her, for all the years I've missed her. "Trust me, it isn't your fault at all! It is what it was. It was an accident. It wasn't your fault! Your bike's brakes weren't working... All I know is, things happen for a reason,"

"Emi-chi..." my voice trailed off and before I knew it, I was crying yet again. 

"Wh-Why are you crying?"

"I was scared of losing you again,"  I whispered, unable to make my voice loud enough for her to hear the words I said. 

"Losing me again? What do you mean by that? Do you know me from somewhere? Umm..."

"You really don't remember, do you?" Emiri nodded and I began to explain all that had occurred during our childhood years, even the part about my having a crush on her all those years ago.

"Ah, so you were scared that I would be mad or upset with you for causing the accident?" Emiri stated. She released a little giggle and said, "I'm not mad at you at all. I'm just glad we could reunite like this,"

Suddenly, we heard a knock at the door.
