I wasn't able to meet up with that mysterious Jun-kun last Sunday... The weather had compromised our plans to meet up.

Anyways, I would definitely like to go to the karaoke outing! ☺️

I'm going to be in the same room as my JO1 oshi! This is nice but I'm also quite nervous to see him. 😖

I know that you, Kei-kun, and Marina-chan will be there too but I can't help but to wonder if I truly will be okay.

After all... My headaches haven't fully gone away.

I keep having random flashbacks too, but they're rather vague and fuzzy. Then, I end up blacking out.

It really has taken me a while to remember both you and Kei-kun, so I wonder what would happen if I remember everything.

Will I truly be happy once all my memories come back?

I can only wonder...

Takumi's POV

"Emi-chi..." Takumi whispered to himself, staring at his cellphone's screen. He was just reading another one of his best friend Tanaka Emiri's emails. Takumi knew that because of her head trauma accident from eleven years ago, that Emiri remembers very little about that night. "Ugh! What should I do?"

P-ring! P-ring!

Suddenly, Takumi's phone rang, the sound echoing throughout his room, alerting him. "H-Hello?" he answered the call.

"Hey, it's Keigo..."

"Ah, Kei-kun! What's up?"

"It's about Emiri-chan... You invited her to the karaoke outing?" Keigo said on the other end of the line, after releasing a deep exhale. "Tak-kun, are you sure that's a good idea?"

"Well, I did have my thoughts about having her stay home and just rest in order to help with her headaches, but..."

"But what? Aren't you the least bit concerned?"

"Of course I am! What do you think of me, Kei-kun?"

"Look, I'm just scared about what might happen. What if something severe occurs and Emiri forgets everything again?"

"Now, stop it! Kei-kun, you're being overly worried about the whole situation! Emi-chi may be experiencing headaches, but I just want her to forget about her condition, even if it's just once. I don't want us treating her differently like those kids did in junior high!"

"Tak-kun... Just think about it! Do you want her to once again forget everything? What if she truly forgets about everything this time? About us?"

Takumi sighed, unable to put his current thoughts to words. He wanted to reassure Keigo that everything was going to be okay, but somehow, in the back of his mind he wasn't so sure if he could say such a thing. Emiri's headaches were getting even worse and Takumi deeply cared for her. He never told Emiri just how he truly feels about her. In his heart, he knew she only ever liked Keigo. Just Keigo, only Keigo. It was always and still is Keigo. Takumi claimed that he was and never will be jealous of him, but he wondered if that was really true.

"Tak-kun?" Keigo stated, bringing back Takumi's attention back to the call. He sounded irritated, if not, deeply concerned.

"Sorry, Kei-kun..." Takumi's voice trailed off. He wanted the call to end as quickly as possible, so he made up a lie. "Syoya's calling me. I gotta answer this call..."

"Ah, okay," Keigo said in response. "Just consider what I discussed with you, alright?"

"Y-Yeah. Don't worry, I will~"

And with that, Takumi abruptly ended the call.
