A/N: Disclaimer: This idea popped up in my mind when I heard the song for the second or third time. While I know that Scott (who wrote this song, I think) wrote about their journey, I don't know if these specific lines are about what you're going to read. Just my imagination running wild.

It was a rather cold Friday morning and when Avi left his cabin he had to scratch the thin layer of ice off his car. His plan for the day was to visit Rose, his little niece of eight months.

Since Darien was on a business trip and Esther needed to get some things done, he had offered to take care of Rose.

The drive over to the outskirts of Nashville took him a little more than half an hour which he spent listening to the radio, catching up with the news of the world. After a detour to the bakery, he arrived at the Koop's place and parked his car in the driveway.

Esther greeted him with a tight hug. "I just put Rose down for her nap, so we can have a tea together?"

Avi smiled. "Definitely. I brought some pastries for us."

"Wonderful. I would've prepared something but Rose had a growth spurt and the last days were hectic. But she's better now. I told her her uncle would come. Maybe that's why" Esther joked as the siblings went into the kitchen.

Avi chuckled. "Probably," he said softly and smiled when he saw his niece on the display of the baby-monitor. She was lying in her bed and sleeping tightly. "She looks like an angel. When is her nap over?"

"In an hour or if she wakes up beforehand" Esther explained while she prepared two mugs of tea.

The siblings sat down in the living room with tea and pastries, eager to catch up before Rose woke up.

"Oh, by the way, did you hear PTX's new song?" Esther said after they had talked about their past weeks.

"No. Usually, they tease everyone so long, even I, who don't use social media that much know exactly what's going on" Avi replied, smiling fondly at the memories.

Esther chuckled. "True," she said. "But yeah, they put it out there as a surprise. It's called The Lucky Ones, just in case you want to give it a listen. It's very good."

Avi smiled and pulled out his phone. "Do you mind..."

Esther shook her head. "Not at all. I need to go to the bathroom anyway."

Avi searched for the song and listened to it once and then once more.

"And? What do you think?" Esther said when she came back.

Avi smiled. "I like the sound of it. Very calm, yet not boring. And the text... very autobiographical in a way."

"I feel it's definitely autobiographical," Esther said with a smile on her face. "I have been listening to it on repeat while getting ready this morning. Rose likes it, too."

Avi nodded. "Relatable," he said while the song started over for the fourth time.

The siblings fell quiet, while they were listening. About halfway through the song, Avi looked up. "I... these lines... about not being good at goodbyes..." Avi spoke up. "I can relate most of the song to their... our story, but this?"

Esther smiled. "You know, Avi. Scott wrote this song together with professional writers of course. But I think this is about you, or at least partly."

"I... Scott wrote this?" Avi asked.

Esther nodded. "He did. I looked it up because I was curious."

"I..."

"Maybe you should ask him if you want to know. I feel that he would like to hear from you. It's been a while, hasn't it? And whenever we're on the phone he asks about you" Esther explained.
