(Time Skip: After School)

Kuroo met Kenma outside of the front of the school, after classes were over. "Hey Kitten!" he said as he waved at the small boy. Kenma looked up at him and asked, "Where are we going today?" Kuroo pointed down the street at a small coffee shop. "Wanna go there?" he asked. Kenma nodded, "Yeah that's fine, lemme get my money, be right back..." "Oh- I'll pay for it, it's okay Kitten," Kuroo told him. "Really?" Kuroo nodded in confirmation. "Thank you Kuro..."

Kuroo grinned and grabbed Kenma's hand, leading him down the sidewalk to the coffee shop. As they entered the building, the smell of coffee and muffins drifted through the air. "It smells amazing in here!" Kuroo exclaimed. Kenma laughed in agreement. "Yeah- it smells like muffins."

"Hello boys!" said the waitress, greeting them. "What can I get for you?" she asked. Kenma looked at Kuroo, motioning for him to order for them both. "We need two hot chocolates and a blueberry muffin," he said handing the lady a thousand yen. "Thank you boys! I'll have your hot chocolates and muffin out soon!" Kuroo smiled at her and said, "Thank you miss."

The two boys sat down at a table by the window. They looked outside, taking in the beautiful view of the city. It was truly magnificent. The sun was beginning to set, filling the sky with different shades of pink, blue, orange, and purple. "Wow...the sunset is breathtaking..." said Kuroo as he looked at the mesmerizing sky. Kenma nodded in agreement. "Yeah... it's beautiful." Kuroo looked at Kenma giving him a funny look. "What? Is something wrong?" asked Kenma confusedly. Kuroo laughed and shook his head, "No- just messing with you," he said as he smirked at Kenma. Kenma could feel his cheeks heat up, making them as bright as the sunset.

Dammit... he thought as he covered his face with his hands in embarrassment.

"You don't need to be all shy Kitten..." Kuroo said jokingly. "I-I'm not being shy, idiot..." Kenma said as he gave Kuroo an impatient glance. "Look the food is here!" said Kuroo excitedly. Kenma laughed at the sight of Kuroo, acting like a little kid. His face was glowing, practically blinding Kenma with his beautiful, shiny, white smile. "Thank you again, Kuro," said Kenma as he sipped his hot chocolate. "No problemo~!" Kuroo said, attempting a hispanic accent. Kenma rolled his eyes at him. Kuroo stood up and walked over to the ordering counter. "WHO MADE THIS MUFFIN?! TELL ME WHO MADE IT!" demanded Kuroo. The employees looked at him like he was crazy. A beautiful, skinny girl walked over and raised her hand. "I-I did..." she said shyly. Kuroo stared at her in amusement. "Well, it's the BEST muffin I've EVER had!" he exclaimed. The girl giggled and thanked him. Kuroo walked back over and sat down. Everyone in the cafe was looking at them. "K-Kuro! Why'd you do that? Now everyone is looking at us!" whispered Kenma angrily. Kuroo chuckled while he leaned back in his chair, propping his right leg on his left. "Yep, I sure know how to grab people's attention," he said as he smirked at Kenma. "Did you see that girl up there?" asked Kuroo as he peeked over at the counter. Kenma nodded, "Yeah, what about her?" he asked curiously. Kuroo gave a charming smile, "She was beautiful... Her eyes... were gorgeous..." he said as he closed his eyes, imaging her stunning eyes. Kenma looked disappointed. "Good for you, you got yourself a girlfriend..." he grumbled. Kuroo looked at Kenma, raising his eyebrow. "Are you jealous? I was just kidding... I mean- sure she was beautiful... like wow...." Kenma interupted, "OKAY I GET IT!" Kuroo sighed, "I was going to say, I'm not going to ask her out," he said as he grabbed Kenma's hand, rubbing the back of his palm. Kenma flinched as their hands made contact. "Okay, I'm sorry I got mad..." he apologized quietly.

"Kitten, if you don't drink your hot chocolate, it's going to get cold. It'll be... cold... cold chocolate! Hhahahahahahah!" he joked. Kenma rolled his eyes at the joke, shaking his head as the boy continued laughing. He finished the rest of his drink. The two of them stood up and exited the cafe. It was really dark outside, so Kuroo dug in his pockets until he found a flashlight. The two walked together until they reached Kenma's house. "Hey Kuroo? Do you want to spend the night? Since it's kinda late... Or do you have to go home...?" he asked curiously. Kuroo got a huge grin on his face, "My kitten wants me to spend the night? Wow... I will gladly accept," he said as he dramatically bowed at Kenma like he was a king or something. "Don't get so full of yourself Kuro..." said Kenma as he grabbed Kuroo's hand. He could feel Kuroo's hands get sweaty. "You okay?" asked Kenma quietly. Kuroo looked confused by the question. "Never mind..." he said. The two walked up to Kenma's front door, opening it quietly. He walked inside, noticing his grandmother asleep in her chair. "Shh- be quiet," Kenma whispered as he closed the door behind them.
