Hello everyone! Thank you all so much! I dont think I wouldve been able to finish this fanfiction without you guys! I had literally given up halfway through, but later found some motivation. I appreciate those of you who stayed with me during this long drawn out time, and liked this awful book.

The ending wasnt exactly what i was planning on doing, but i think its decent. Im releasing the first chapter of the Bokuaka story like now, so whenever you're reading this, if you wanna check it out, go to my page and it should be there! Lmk if you came from this story!

Kenma's death was actually based off of a true story. My mother was an NICU nurse and she took care of young children who were basically guaranteed to die. One of them, (whos name I will not specify) had a very tragic death. She was born with awful lungs that couldnt support her body. She was always sick from the day she was born. She spent the entire year of her in the hospital, unable to move, sit up, or even make sounds. Her twin brother got to stay at home with his family while she was hooked up to a very very strong ventilator. She would never be able to survive without it. Her life would be truly miserable. The mother would call the nurses who took care of her child and let them put the phone next to the babies ear so she could talk to her while she held the brother.

Right after she had her first birthday in the hospital, the family had to make a very hard decision. They had to choose whether their only daughter would lay in a hospital bed her entire life, unable to walk, talk, or breathe on her own, or whether she would be happier if her suffering had ended.

They decided to switch her over to a less strong ventilator and give her pain meds to keep her comfortable. Her mother held her baby girl in her arms for the first time before she died.

And thats where I got inspiration. I dont think I'll ever understand how truly awful death is. You never know how much you have until its gone. I've learned that the hard way.

Life is a precious thing.

Please do not take it for granted.
