Chapter 15:
"Mr. Kim." Donghae's father nodded towards the man sitting across him,
"It's been a while, Mr. Lee." Minjee's father greeted in return.
"I'm glad you were able to spare a time." Mr. Lee nodded back,
Minjee's father seated facing towards Donghae's father. "It has been a while. Let's get straight to the point." Mr. Kim said with a grim expression.
"Ahh, Just like the old times. Always direct, Mr. Kim." Mr. Lee said cautiously. There was silence and tension in the air,
"I saw the news that your son is engaged?" Mr. Kim finally said, keeping his face blank.
"Ah, that? No. My son as you know is care free. Actually, I have a proposition in relation to that," Mr. Lee said, "You know, just like we always do in the days." Mr. Kim's jaw tightened, recalling their last agreement years back.
Mr. Kim cleared his throat, "What is it?" He managed to answer,
"A proposal for an arranged marriage." Mr. Lee said.

After Donghae's confession, Minjee was still feeling elated when he suggested they go grocery shopping. Realizing they won't have anything much to do back at Hyukjae's apartment, they decided it would be best since it was Donghae's first time, given he's a chaebol (and Minjee too, but he does not know that)
They walked, hands held, to the nearest supermarket and as they pass by, people stare at them. Minjee blushed when she overheard an old man tell his wife that they're like a newly married couple which, for Donghae, he was glad to hear.
"Go get a cart and just meet me at the Dairy section." Donghae said as they walked inside. Minjee rolled her eyes but did what he asked. Lost, she wandered around the supermarket trying to find Donghae. When she was able to reach the Dairy section, she saw him talking to two girls. There were two of them and at least with the same age as them. This girls. She cursed at them under her breathe. She stood there for a moment, hoping for Donghae to notice but he didn't. Donghae, on the other hand, was immersed in the conversation of the two women who asked her what are the great places to visit in Mokpo. Passionate and sincerely love his hometown, he was excited to tell them about it.
Minjee stood there with a grim expression, until a thought ran into her mind. She smirked.
"Hubby, did you find milk for our twins?" She forced a smile, eyes wide towards the two women. Donghae turned to her, confused. The women's eyes widened, and then shifted a reaction of disappointment. "What?" He asked, Minjee wanted to laugh but held it in. That's right, back off. She thought.
"Who are they? Have you found the milk yet?" She smirked, rolling her eyes towards the women in front of her. Donghae didn't respond, still confused.
"Aren't you too young to have a kid?" One of girl said, her eyebrow raised but still bewildered.
"Wae? Do you have a problem with that?" She answered, chin high. There was silence for a moment; the girls look at him then back at Minjee. He stared at her with what-did-you-just-say look.
She smiled innocently and hooked her arm with his. When it started to sink in, he smirked. He held her hand and turned to the girls who are now staring at their hands disappointedly.
Donghae kept his smile, "They're just asking for something, wifey." He winked; she chuckled and turned towards them, shooting a glare "And what did they ask?"
"Ah, N-nothing." The other girl stuttered as she nervously smiled,
"Really? You both seem really interested with him a while ago," I turned back to Donghae once again, "Hubby, we already have twins," She pouted, "We need to go home immediately," then she smiled at him cutely.
Donghae pinched her cheeks, grinning. He placed his hand on my waist and pulled me closer to his side. He then planted a kiss on my cheek, "Arasso. Goodbye, girls." He said as they walk away; Minjee glared at them one last time before smiling back at Donghae.
When the women were out of sight, she pushed Donghae, "Ya, you just confessed a while ago and now I find you flirting," She glared at him, "What do you take me for?"
He held her hand and pulled her closer, encircling his arms around her waist. She leaned on his chest, their faces inches away, "So... you want twins." He whispered, his eyes dancing with amusement.
She felt her cheeks reddened, "Don't worry," He continued, "We'll make ones later once we go home." He finished, then kissing her forehead. Minjee pulled away, fanning herself. She tried to steady her breathing as her heart raced wildly. She felt embarrassed.
She did not say anything and followed him throughout, when they were lining up to pay at the cashier, she noticed the girls behind of them are the same ones from earlier as they were having a conversation,
"It was such a waste. He was really cute," the first girl said, "She wasn't even that pretty to begin with"
"Yeah, the ugly ones are always the ones desperate to seduce men," The other said which the latter agreed
Minjee turned back and glared at them. When they noticed, they immediately looked down, alarmed for getting caught.
That's right. She thought as she clinged unto Donghae once more. He looked at her, confused for a second then realized what was going on. He winked at her.
"I miss our twins already," She said in a loud voice, enough for the girls behind them to hear,
"I know, I miss them too." He agreed, trying to hold his laugh. Both of them grin at each other, when everyone, including the cashier, stared at them in disbelief. The old woman in the cashier shot them a disgust look as if saying young kids nowadays.
When they had paid for what they bought, they hurriedly went home.

As they walked inside the door, Minjee went straight to the kitchen to place the groceries down the counter. She purposely avoided him but Donghae followed her everywhere she went.
"Should we make those twins now?" He grinned, teasing her. He walked closer and closer towards her as Minjee stepped back trying to get away until she found herself leaning on the wall.
She was between his arms, trapping her. She felt like she can already hear her heartbeat. With the energy she have left, she forced her to stand with her legs weaken under Donghae's charms.
"W-hat do you think you're doing?" She managed to say, stuttering. His eyes are staring into hers and slowly down to her lips.
He smirked, "Making twins."
