03 | Three Weeks Together

Suigetsu and Juugo are amusingly watching Sakura on the grounds punching trees, throwing boulders, and putting dents on the ground. They were by the house, leaning on the door frame.

"Konoha's shinobis are really different, eh? Not once I met one who backs out without a fight." Juugo said with his usual straight face. After being punched by Sakura and being unconscious for hours, his wasn't getting triggered anymore with his killing intentions.

"Aa. She managed to knock you out, Juugo! You! A monster who originated the curse seal was knocked out?!" Suigetsu was laughing weirdly now until Karin spoke behind them.

"Why the hell is she making all these ruckus at early morning? She's been doing nothing but cause messes ever since we brought her here." she was irritated. Seeing Sakura in a state where she's showing her skills is making her jealous because everything she sees in Sakura, she saw in Sasuke. They were both smart and observant. Both talks in few words without explaining further. And now, both possess such enormous strengths. And she hates the fact the she knows they were 'family' back in Konoha. Just what the hell does she mean by that? Sakura wasn't obviously an Uchiha with those pink locks and green orbs. How close were they for her to call Sasuke 'family'?

Coming back to her senses, she saw Sasuke arrive near Sakura.

Sakura was angry ever since she opened her eyes that morning. Without any food in her system, she immediately went out the window and started punching the trees around. She was angry because she realized she couldn't do anything to bring back Sasuke despite being this close to him. She was angry because despite being Lord 5th Hokage's apprentice, and despite being recognized as one of the strongest medical kunoichi in their village, she was still far away from Naruto and Sasuke's strength.

She has accepted it though. She knows she can never reach their level. How can she reach their level when Naruto is a jinchuriki and Sasuke is from a clan with an undeniably strong kekkei genkai? She on the other hand is as regular as the trees she's punching. She just goes in her own phase yet she was growing. Despite being normal, she didn't want to be saved again, she didn't want to be a burden to their team anymore, especially to Naruto, that's why she worked her ass off just to come on top and be able to handle herself.

But being here with Sasuke with some seal on her wrist, she realized she's still the same. She realized that despite climbing up the ranks she still can't do anything about the situation. She's still a burden to Naruto.

As she was punching the trees, she saw Sasuke arrive in her peripheral view.

"What the fuck, Sakura? You're making too much mess."

She grew angrier with the sight of him, so instead of answering him, she directed her fists at him but Sasuke dodged. She wasn't stopping though, after his dodge, she decided to twist her body to throw in a kick but Sasuke was able to dodge it as well.

"Fucking fight me, Sasuke!"

"No."

Aggravated, she jumped with her right leg raised in order to land with strength but Sasuke grabbed her leg before it even lands. She didn't stopped coming in with combos, after he grabbed it, she moved her left leg to kick him but he grabbed it as well and twisted her in the air.

Falling onto the ground, she smirked at him. "Good, you're fighting back."

"I am defending myself."

"Since when are you on the defense, Sasuke? Throw in some offense, you traitor." Sakura scoffed. This infuriated Sasuke but he still did not make any move. He will not fight Sakura.
