A week has passed since Sakura and Yuuki arrived at Waves Country, and immediately, they started work. The hospital was already built but it obviously lacked manpower and resources to keep it going for a lifetime.
As Sakura finished talking with another medical-ninja who is a rookie, Yuuki came knocking on her door.
"Sakura, here are some of the herbs you requested. I'll brief you with its benefits for usage." he said, carrying a basket of herbs on his arms.
As Yuuki discussed the herbs one by one, he noticed how out-of-it Sakura was. He noticed this since they arrived and he didn't asked at first since he assumed that the kunoichi must be tired from their travel that came right after her three-month mission in Kiri. But his assumptions grew to worry when a week passed as she was still spacing out.
"Sakura."
"Hm? Yeah, this one can only be found in your country, right?" she asked, unable to notice the man's worried look for her.
"Are you tired? We've been doing this for a week, you might want to rest."
"Hm? No, I am not. So, this leaf—"
Yuuki grabbed her wrist, "Tell me what's wrong, Sakura. I can't have you working like this."
"There's nothing wrong, Yuuki. What are you talking about?"
"You've been spacing out for a week. Though I admire you for being attentive all through out and have been a big help for only a week, I'm worried that you might be overworking yourself."
"Oh." Sakura was lost at words at how he noticed that. She was bothered by something and although she thought she was able to mask it with her smiles, the man still noticed it.
"Say, Yuuki. I have a question."
"Go ahead."
"If.... someone asked you to wear their family symbol, how would you react?" she asked with wonder.
"Oh? Um, I don't know, to be honest but if someone did, I must be important to them, right? I mean, a family symbol is something to be respected since it was worn by a lot of influential people from their clan, it symbolizes who they are as a family and as an individual so it is not just some symbol. So, if someone asked me to wear it, they must think of me as someone worthy to wear it." he casually said.
"Hm." Sakura said, putting her index finger and thumb on her chin as she seemed deep in thought.
"Why did you ask, Sakura?" Yuuki asked.
"Do you think I'm worthy to wear someone's family symbol?" Sakura asked.
"Of course you are! I mean you are the new legendary sannin. The second one to utilize the Byakugo Seal and the most respected and sought out medical-ninja in all five nations." Yuuki gleamed, showing how much he admired her for her success.
"But.... behind all that, I'm from an unworthy clan." she said solemnly.
"Unworthy clan? But you're a worthy individual, Haruno-sama." Yuuki emphasized her name and authority status to drill the fact on how worthy and respected she is.
"But do you think a Haruno is worthy of carrying the Uchiha symbol?" she asked again.
"Uchiha?" Yuuki was bewildered. 'Sasuke asked her to carry their symbol?' he thought. "Uchiha-san asked you to carry their symbol, Sakura?"
Sakura nodded, "He did. Before we left."
"Sakura." he called, his tone serious. "Who are you to the last Uchiha?"
