12 | Three Months Together

"Who will you seek if there are things you don't understand?"

"Shizune-san."

"Reports will be handed to...?"

"Shizune-san as well."

"Reports will be handed when?"

"Weekly on Wednesdays."

"Lessons about medical ninjutsu at the academy will start next week, Yuuki. I hope you're prepared to handle them with the lessons carefully laid out." Sakura smiled at the pale man beside her.

Today is the day that Sakura and Sasuke will head on out to find the scroll at the Hidden Village of the Mist. She has trained Yuuki for two weeks, briefing him his duties as the temporary head of Konoha's Medical Hospital. He's a fast learner and he didn't really need to learn new stuff other than the other people he will be working with and the paperworks he has to fill out.

Yuuki offered to walk Sakura to Konoha's gates where Sasuke waited for her. Sakura was doing a little reviewing session to Yuuki to ease her nervousness about leaving the hospital to someone else's supervision.

"If you have questions that no one could answer, go to the Hokage and he might help you to send a message to me and I'll try my best to reply as soon as possible." Sakura said a little too queasy.

"I'll be fine, Sakura. You taught me well and I wouldn't want to fail you since I'm the one here seeking for your help." Yuuki gave a soft smile.

"You look better when you smile, Yuuki."

Looking away with a slight blush, Yuuki muttered a thank you that was masked with a nervous cough.

Arriving at the gates, Sasuke frowned at their sight. Was Sakura late because she was with Yuuki?

"Oh and Temari will be coming tomorrow for her check-up. I have my records of her on the second shelf under the name 'Nara Temari' so review that before you meet her, she kind of hates explaining again and she's really impatient. She might be coming with her husband as well, Shikamaru, he's the hokage's right hand, okay?" Sakura kept on adding more things to say, it is no doubt that she didn't want to leave just yet.

"Sakura, I got it, okay? I reviewed everything and I will review everything again. Just go, your parents are waiting." Yuuki bid.

Sakura gave him a soft look due to his last statement. She is doing this for her parents and she forgot about their death for a while due to the things that has happened the past two weeks.

"Alright." Sakura finally went beside Sasuke before she turned around again to face Yuuki. "Good luck, Yuuki!" she raised her fist.

Finally walking away from Konoha's big gates, Sasuke uttered his first words.

"You're late." he said a little too coldly.

"But I'm here now, Sasuke-kun." Sakura replied.

"You shouldn't be slacking just because of some guy."

"That some guy is the temporary head of Konoha Medical, Sasuke-kun." Sakura said as she crossed her arms.

"Hn."

"Give me your hand, Sasuke-kun." Sakura suddenly said.

"Why?" he asked as he raised his brows.

"Just give it to me." Sakura insisted.

"No."

"C'mon, Sasuke-kun. Let me have it."

"Sakura, no."
