Josie was held by her twin sister as she cried into the blonde's shoulder. Tony and Steve looked between the two girls and the 16 year old's body, lying on the floor in a pool of red and black blood.
Tony bowed his head and turned around, blasting a Chitauri warrior that was coming towards them.
"You two stay here. We've got this." Steve said solemnly as her ran away from the scene in front of them.
"Do you think everyone else knows?" Lizzie asked her sister, whose tears had slowed.
"What do you mean?"
"No body answered on the coms. I know Alex knows, but what about the others?"
"I don't know..." Josie sighed and rested her head on Lizzie's shoulder and blinking out the only tear she had left.

Hope and Nat where on a space vehicle, oblivious to what was happening to a girl they both loved, when Loki began to trail them on a similar jet.
He blew something at the pair which caused them to turn around.
"Oh, you." Nat said as she turned her head back around.
"What. A. Stalker." Hope said as she also turned her head. He continued to shoot at them but Nat, who was controlling the vehicle, dodged the blasts well.
"Hawkeye!" Nat yelled out to Clint, who was standing in a nearby roof, "A little help?"
Neither girl could see what he was doing but assumed that he took care of it when they heard something blow up behind them.
As they passed over Stark Towers, Hope grabbed Nat's waist and waist and jumped onto the tower.
The duo got up and looked at the machine in front of them that stored the tesseract.
"The sceptre."
"Doctor?" Nat and Hope turned around to see a self aware Erik Selvig.
"Loki's sceptre. The energy. The tesseract can't fight, but you can't protect against yourself."
"It's not your fault, okay. This was Loki's doing, you had no idea what was going on." Hope said as she crouched down in front of him.
