The group on the ground looked up to see a huge blue wormhole in the sky.
"What the hell is that?" Lizzie asked but nobody took any notice of her question as huge creatures came out of it.
"Oh. Ok...I feel like we should run, should we run?" Victoria spoke but once again, nobody said anything as the huge, metal, flying worm came past them.
"Stark are you seeing this?" Steve said into the coms.
"Seeing...still working in believing. Where's banner? Has he shown up yet?"
"Banner?"
"Just keep me posted."
Hope looked around at everything. Chitauri soldiers were wreaking havoc: they were jumping into buildings and shooting the people inside of them, huge worms were crashing into buildings, cars and people leaving lots of damage.
The team ran through the streets, finally hiding behind a few yellow taxi's that crashed in the chaos.
"We've got civilians still trapped up there." Clint heaved, trying to catch him breath. Victoria was still looking around in disbelief. This chaos was unlike anything she had seen before. When she was recruited, they made her kill hundreds, set fires, caused damage. She thought that was bad but this was a whole new level.
A swarm of Chitauri came flying past, shooting blue lasers at the floor. Luckily, the group stayed out of sight.
Things had started to blow up all around the city. In the middle of it was a God with a wide grin plastered onto his face.
"They're fish in a barrel down there." Steve said as he peered over the hood of the car to see the havoc. He was shot at but Nat pulled out her guns and started to shoot as Victoria pulled out a dagger and threw it at the alien's carotid artery, watching it bleed to death. She then pulled out a hand gun and shot another one in between its eyes.
Hope stood up and used her magic to throw a fireball and one of their vehicles. She saw it melt when the alien jumped of it from the corner of her eye. She then shot a spell at another Chitauri solider.
"Scutum!" Hope held out her hand and a torrent of blue lights came out of it, knocking the alien back and rendering it unconscious.
