The first time Victoria Blake went back into the sun was harder than she thought it would be. It wasn't that it hurt, but the fact that the shutters had been closed and she hadn't been able to get used to it.

Josie walked beside her with their hands intertwined. They trailed behind the rest of the team so that vic wouldn't be tempted to, you know, eat them.

"What is this place again?" Hope asked the New York native Alex Stark, looking up at the building that had been severely damaged by the battle.

"More like what was this place." Lizzie said sarcastically and Hope nudged her lightly in the ribs.

"It's a shawarma joint." The boy replied, unfazed by the obvious sarcasm.

"Wait- you were serious about that?" Steve asked him and laughed when Tony nodded his head.

"Come one." Tony told them all and stepped over the rubble of what used to be a door, "Table for 11 please." He said to the woman behind the counter.

She looked at them strangely. They were all still in their suits so it must have looked quite weird to the poor woman.

Tony had a smile on his face that made people think he was oblivious to how much of a dump this place was. I guess he really wanted shawarma.

The woman, who was hesitant at first given the state of her restaurant, showed them to a long table with more than enough chairs for all of them.

She took their orders and went into the kitchen.

The avengers looked around at the restaurant. It was covered in rubble and dust.

"You wouldn't think they'd still be open." Josie said to the brunette beside her.

"Of course you would. It says 24/7. I'm sure if this was Tesco, they'd be open. You know why?" The British girl told her.

"Because they're 24/7?" Josie asked her more than answered.

"Exactly. Tesco is so reliable."

After a few minutes of small talk, the same woman came out with another person, carrying their orders.

'I guess everyone else went home.' Victoria thought to herself, 'Gotta love the dedication.'

After they all got their food, the woman went back to sweeping the debris and the team ate in silence. The only noise that could be heard was the sound of cutlery hitting the plate, chewing and swallows before tony broke the silence.

"This is good shawarma."

SORRY THIS ONE WAS REALLY SHORT.

I JUST REALLY LOVED THIS SCENE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS BARLEY 30 SECONDS LONG.
