Taylor's eyes never left one particular spot on his desk where a green, and topaz marble sat, not wanting to look into his eyes, or anywhere on his face, as sheer disappointment would surly be present.Nor did she want to look at her assignment any more than she had to anymore, reliving the deplorable writing surly wouldn't make her feel any less depressed than she already was. A slight flush formed on her pale cheeks, coloring them with a nice rose color while having to stand there yet again being told how crappy her performance has been.
The girl's chest lifted as she took in a large breath of air, she'd never had Mr. Drake as a teacher before this semester, and she wasn't aware of just how different he would compare to her other teachers who would merely let her go with a stern warning after she gave them the same bullshit excuse.
"I'm sorry, it won't happen again. I was helping someone else with their homework and I forgot to give myself time to write my own essay."
She spoke softly, still indirectly looking at her professor as she felt his eyes burning a hole in her head. She didn't care so much if he believed her or not, as she hadn't received any real punishment from any of her teachers before, so she wasn't concerned in the slightest. Only wishing to go back to her dorm, return to her comforting bed, and resume her pity party.
