Your POV

Today was the night of the dance, and unfortunately for me, I hadn't seen any sign that made me think that Blake was going. Nonetheless, I still got dressed in my white suit with light blue accents and a light blue bowtie. I found out that my sister was also going alone, so the two of us walked to the ballroom together. When we got there, I saw Yang standing behind a podium as she greeted everyone that entered the room. Weiss walked off to do her own thing while I walked over to a table near the wall and sat down, my back to the rest of the room. I sighed as I sat there alone, with the occasional random girl approaching me to dance. I wasn't in the mood so I kept turning them down. After a few minutes, my sister approached me and sat down in the sit next to me. She looked at me and said, "Hey, I just saw Blake heading for the ballroom. Yang offered her a dance if she showed up." I smiled slightly and said, "Thanks for telling me sis." She smiled and said, "Plus, I think that you should do something to show that you still care for her." I smirked and said, "You know, I haven't sung in a while nor have I played my guitar. But I think I have an idea in mind." I hugged my sister and said, "Thanks, sis." She smiled and left. I smiled to myself as I got up and headed back to my dorm. I grabbed my guitar case out of my closet, carried it around to the backstage of the ballroom. I found one of the DJ's and told them about my idea. He nodded and gave me a thumbs-up. I took my guitar out of the case and waited for my cue.

Blake's POV

After I finished my dance with Yang, I started to look around for my boyfriend so I could apologize to him. All of the sudden, the music stopped and I heard a familiar voice say, "Hello, everyone. I know that probably none of you were expecting a live performance. To be clear, I'm just doing this for one person." I turned and saw my boyfriend in a white suit holding an acoustic guitar. I made my way to the front of the stage and smiled at him. Then he said, "I want to dedicate this song to the love of my life, Blake Belladonna." I smiled happily as he sat down on a stool and began to play his guitar.

(A/N: Pretend you're George Strait (the one singing) and Blake is the redhead girl)

When he finished, I ran up to the stage and kiss him. The sounds of everyone else cheering seemed to just fade out while we kissed. When we pulled away, he said, "I love you, Blake." I smiled and said, "I love you too, Y/N." Then we went back to the dance floor as a slow paced song started to play. He placed a hand on my waist and held my hand in the other. I put my hand on his shoulder and smiled as we began to dance perfectly in sync with each other. As we danced, Y/N said, "You look absolutely stunning and gorgeous in that dress, by the way." I blushed slightly and replied, "Thanks. You look very handsome in that suit. I had no idea that you could sing like that. I just want to say that I'm really sorry for how I had been acting lately. I got so caught up in─" He cut me off by gently placing his lips onto mine. I closed my eyes as we both melted into the kiss. When we pulled away for air, he said, "It's okay, just try not to forget about me next time." I nodded and rested my head against his chest as we continued to dance.
