Ben, put a hand on Reed's shoulder, reminding him that he was still needed as he held his dying fiancé.
"Uh, Victor's got to have a pulse emitter, linking him to his board. We take it out and we can separate him from the board," Reed said.
"He's too strong for me," Johnny said.
"I might be able to take him," Veronica offered.
"I can whale on him, if I could get close enough, but he'd see me coming from a mile away," Ben said.
"It would take all of us," Reed admitted as he looked down at Sue, who groaned in pain.
"Or maybe just one of us," Johnny said and Veronica backed away from him as she said,
"No! We don't even know what it could do to you!"
"Let's not make this about me," Johnny said as he looked to Ben, who nodded.
"Fine. But if you do this, I'm coming with you."
"V-" Johnny began.
"No, Johnny! This is my brother that you're going to fight. I'm coming with you. End of story."
Johnny laughed. "I was just going to say that I love you."
"Oh," Veronica said as the other three members of their team put their hands together, Johnny's on top as he took their powers.
