Chapter 14

Fumiko was now cleaning the Uchiha compound. Neji was there too with her, helping putting stuffs in order. She already protested that she could do it alone, but Neji did not budge. He said that this is his future anyway, so he felt the obliged to help her.

"Do you want to eat homemade lunch or order a takeout?" Fumiko asked Neji from upstairs.

"We can eat anything you like, Fumiko-sama."

Fumiko was about to answer when she felt a very familiar chakra within the Konoha. She stood frozen for a whole minute before gasped. "Neji-kun! I-I need to go! I'll order some takeout later!"

Without waiting for Neji's answer, Fumiko body flickered to the place where she felt the chakra. She stood directly in front of Sarutobi Asuma and Yuhi Kurenai. Her eyes were hidden behind her long hair, but both jonins behind her could see how she was trembling.

"Uchiha Fumiko." The man in front of her acknowledged her, making his partner gasped hearing her name.

"Nii-san." She whispered before looking up, her mangekyo was full on display.

Itachi frowned. He noticed how mismatched both her sharingan were—one of them was the eternal mangekyo, yet the other one was hers.

"Oho, I thought you killed all of your family members, Itachi-san." The shark-like commented. "She looks exactly like you, it's so uncanny."

Itachi opened his cloak that covering his face, letting the jonins to recognize him. "Uchiha Itachi!"

Both Asuma and Kurenai was in a fighting position already, leaving both Fumiko and Itachi to keep glaring at each other. "What brings you here, Uchiha Itachi?" Asuma spatted.

"Yondaime's legacy. Give him to us."

"You're here for Kyuubi inside Naruto, aren't you?" Kakashi landed beside Fumiko.

"Ho, you know about us?" Kisame swung his Samehada to Kakashi, but in the blink of eye Fumiko was stood in front of him with her own Katana. "Heh, you're good at holding your own katana."

Electricity rushed from Fumiko through her katana, making Kisame backed down immediately. "Heh." Kisame spatted blood from his mouth. He casted a glance toward his stoic partner. "Your sister's good, Itachi-san. Should I kill her?"

"We're here to take Yondaime's legacy. That's all."

"Heh, too bad."

As if the Uchiha siblings had the same thinking, they used their katon. Their fireball had the exact same size and energy, making Kakashi hummed in surprise. Too bad though, Kisame managed to sneaked behind Fumiko, ready to attack. Noticing an enemy behind her, Fumiko body flickered away and appeared behind the shark-human and with her lightning jutsu, attack the older male.

As Fumiko and Kisame engaged in a fight, Itachi managed to hurt Kakashi and Kurenai in process. He captured Kakashi in his genjutsu and about to attack Asuma when Guy came and put a stop on it. Itachi went back to Kisame's side, now fully noticed how her sister's breath ragged while she put her hand over her throbbing right eye—the one with her own sharingan. Guy, who also realized that Fumiko had not recovered yet from the fight with Orochimaru, immediately came beside her and support her shoulder before she falls.

"Tsk." Kisame grumbled. "They keep coming."

"We retreat for now." Itachi mumbled. "Come, Kisame."

Before Guy could stop them, both Akatsuki members were gone. He then looked down in worry. "Uchiha-san, are you okay?"

Aire gave a huff then pried herself away from Guy. She casted a glance towards Kakashi who was in Asuma's arm and bit down her lip hard. Both she and Guy stopped in front of the trio. To say Asuma and Kurenai were not worried of the young Uchiha was an understatement. Fumiko did not bother to conceal her annoyance. She nodded towards Kakashi.

"Take him back to his house. There's nothing we can do unless waiting for Tsunade-san to come and fix him up. My brother's genjutsu is way too strong, even for me."

With that, Fumiko body flickered away. She stopped by the Ichiraku ramen to order takeout for her and Neji. Looking at how tired Fumiko was, the old man told her to just rest at home and he would bring the food to her house. The girl nodded and about to walk out Ichiraku when suddenly Sasuke came, panting.

"Have you seen Naruto?" He asked urgently.

"Ah, he left Konoha with Master Jiraiya not long ago. They might be in near town." The old man answered him.

Within a second, Sasuke was no longer in front of them. Fumiko blinked once. Then twice. Then trice. A frown graced her face as she groaned. "Great. Old man, please drop the food to the main house in Uchiha compound. Neji would be there to take the food. And here's the money. Thank you."

Fumiko then tracking Sasuke's chakra and followed him up. By the time she arrived in an inn, Itachi was pinning Sasuke down to a wall. Without thinking, Fumiko got between them, trying to preach Itachi's hand away and at the same time blocking her older brother from doing any more harm towards her little brother.

"Nii-san, let Sasuke go." Fumiko growled, activating her sharingan.

"Your chakra is almost drained, Fumiko." Itachi said stoically. "It might kill you if you force yourself up. You're the head of the clan now, are you not? Why are you being stupid?"

"Let. Sasuke. go." She gritted her teeth. The siblings looked like they're only in a heated argument, but Kisame and Jiraiya noticed. The siblings were attacking each other with genjutsu as their chakra flickered unstably.

Fumiko could feel Itachi's grip on Sasuke's throat getting harder. Sasuke was now choking, so gears working in Fumiko's head.

"You know," She breathed out, "I've punished him. As the head of Uchiha clan."

This catching Itachi's attention as he looked down to his sister's eyes. Too bad though, Fumiko was caught off guard, making Itachi abled to put her into a genjutsu. Sasuke watched how his sister's body suddenly collapsed if it were not for Itachi catching her with his other hand.

The girl was not crying nor screaming, yet she breathed out a name before falling into the genjutsu deeper. "Shisui nii-san."
