Jeongin had stayed over with Chan, so he was dropped off to school. However, he asked Chan to drop him off a street or two away from the school to avoid questions. Now that he had given himself and Chan the status of "boyfriends", he was more worried to be seen with him.
When he walked over to his friends, he knew something was going on. The lot of them were watching Minho trying to talk to Jisung. Come to think of it, Jeongin hadn't seen Jisung and Minho together recently, which was unusual.
"Jisung?" Jisung didn't say anything back. "Look, just come with me so we can talk. Please?"
"You didn't want to talk before you screwed everything up!" Jisung was clearly pissed off. "Do you know..." Jisung trailed off to silence as Jeongin joined them.
"Hi Jeongin!" Seungmin smiled, waving, while nudging Minho a bit with his elbow. Minho sighed, and walked away, rolling his eyes.
"Did something happen?" Jeongin asked, looking around at his friends, who were clearly avoiding eye contact.
"What? No!" Jisung denied, immediately. An awkward silence fell upon them, since everyone was too worried to elaborate, and was finally broken by the bell.
Jeongin's first lesson was history, a lesson he shared with Jisung. Jisung was very quiet, something Jeongin, nor their history professor, were used to. Jeongin's mind was in a constant debate of if he should ask Jisung what was wrong or not.
Eventually, whilst they were doing some independent work, Jeongin decided to ask.
"Is anything wrong... You know.. between you and Minho?" That came out all jumbled, but the question somehow got across.
"No." Jisung mumbled.
"Did you guys... fight?" Jeongin was trying to be very cautious with his words, so as to not phrase anything wrong.
Jisung took a deep breath and began telling Jeongin everything.
"Do you remember when we all went to that park and then Hyunjin, Minho and ChaeRin turned up?"
"Yeah, but why?" Jeongin asked, confused as to how this had anything to do with what he heard this morning.
"That was Minho's idea and I... kinda helped him out by bringing you all to that park." Jisung confessed. "But I didn't know that he was going to bring Hyunjin!" Jisung added, quickly, before Jeongin said anything. Jisung sighed. "But he made you and Hyunjin even more upset by randomly bring you two together like that, instead of letting you work it out yourselves. So... I might've gotten angry at him."
Jeongin didn't say anything and picked up his worksheet, rolling it up and smacking it on Jisung's head.
"Ow, what was that for?"
"You idiot. Why would you argue over that?" Jeongin shook his head. He expected some more drama, to be completely honest.
"I know, and I'm not proud of myself, but... I don't want to look stupid by going to him and apologising." He said, very quietly. Jeongin held back a smile. Even someone as cute and innocent as Jisung had this level of ego and pride, huh?
"So, you're just going to continue arguing with him?"
"Yes." Jisung said, burying his head in his hands.
"No, you're not. You're going to suck it up and apologise." Jeongin told him. "You know he seems like he has something to say as well."
"Really?" Jisung looked up.
"Well, yeah. But you wouldn't let him."
Jisung groaned and returned his face back to his hands.
