"Magandang hapon, Senyora Candarica."
I kissed her on the cheek, "Dad isn't home yet?"
Umiling siya. "He'll be home late, sweetie." Bumaling siya kay Sandro, "Thank you for sending my daughter here, Sandro, hijo." Mom shifted her eyes on me, "Lucy, why don't you invite Sandro to go inside first? I'll ask Karmensita to prepare meryenda for the both of you."
"Uh... do you want to... go inside first?"
He put his hands on the pocket of his faded maong and stared at me with a lopsided smile.
"Would you accept no as an answer?"
Humalukipkip ako at tinaasan siya ng kilay. "It was my mom who invited you anyway, so if you want to decline, then say no to her directly and go home."
Umirap ako at tumalikod sa kanya. I smirked when I felt him followed me until we reached the receiving area. Magkatabi kaming naupo sa mahabang sofa. None of us spoke until I couldn't hold it anymore and cleared my throat.
"So... pupunta ka sa bahay nina Monica Natividad on her brother's birthday?" Pride on my tone.
Suplado niya akong sinulyapan. His brow cocked. "Kung dadalo man ako, what do you think my reason would be?"
"Kung dadalo ka man, I'll bet it's not mainly because it's her brother's birthday, but for you to see Monica! Kasi ganon naman diba? It's obvious that you want to see that Monica just like how she wants to see you every damn time!"
Sandro shifted on his seat to face me and slightly leaned on the sofa's armrest. Matiim niya akong tinitigan. However, I can see amusement sparked in his eyes.
"Do you honestly believe na maniniwala ako na hindi mo sya gusto?" Hamon ko pa ulit, "Come on, Sandro, no men would resist women with hourglass body like Monica." "Monica Natividad, you irrelevant little bitch!"
I glanced at Sandro. His face darkened. I pursed my lips. Hindi ko namalayang naisatinig ko pala iyon.
"Lucy..." Tawag niya sa'kin.
I glanced at him sideway. "What?" Pride at pagmamaldita sa'king boses.
"Stop being a bad girl, Señorita." Kasabay ng tipid na pag-iling.
I smirked. I flipped my hair and crossed my legs. I placed my elbow above my knee and put my face on my fisted hand. I stared at Sandro intently.
His thick eyebrows, long lashes, deep set charcoal eyes, perfectly shaped nose, defined jawline and Oh, dios mio, his full lips looks so manly and freaking sensual! That unshaved scruffy facial hair just made him look mature and... attractively rugged. His strong features were finely chiseled.
Bahagyang hapit sa kanya ang suot nyang gray shirt that's why his well toned muscles and chiseled chest became more evident that I begun to wonder how does it feel to have my hand and fingers tracing his body.
Oh God. Sandro is a walking temptation!
Everything about him is so unlawful.
